Neo's ath was back in august. Neo is a perfect example of another coin having a nice pump right now. Watch what happens to it over the next few days. Garaunteed to fall back soon.

I am also waiting for alt to pump. i like NEO and Chainlink. Im looking for NEO to break the resistance and create a new high. NEO will be 100 by end of the year. For chainlink i will wait for sibos conference update.

neo has grown much in the last two weeks and it was predicted to rise because the price was very low at that time and people who are experienced in trading can predict it to rise at time and we all know that neo is a high quality coin. i have invested 500$ in it and gain a good profit from it. i had sold them yesterday and at that time price is 36$ and now it is 33$ so, i am thinking to buy again when it goes arround 25$ to 28$.

there is no reason for another widespread altcoin pump this year. at the beginning of the year there was a lot of reasons, mostly because of the uncertainty of the bitcoin future and also because of the severe spam attack that it was experiencing. so the pumpers took advantage and released the ".... will replace bitcoin" crap and pumped the shit out of every single altcoin out there.

there is no similar reason now for another "alt boom" again. you will continue seeing 2-3 altcoins getting big pumps every day and the rest being on the downtrend like always.

So your saying, altcoins will never boom again? Really? I think its only just begun. Reason....mass adoption, the world has just started getting in to this space and its about to get much bigger! Infact everybody I know is waiting to get there extra forked coin and than get back in to altcoins after the fork. The only reason alts haven't been rising lately is because of bitcoins hardforks.

If you do try to see on the charts it do really have small pumps and dumps which is somehow they stabilizing their prices which waiting for something big to come in which is actually happening on bitcoin for once again.
Theres no assurance of altcoin boom but most likely we can assume that this thing will possibly happen just like what happen on previous fork on bitcoin there are really some major movements on alts reaching new ATH's.

we cant really control whatever happens inside crypto, we are just hoping and expecting that movement will be favored to our side and
if another alt will pumped better to watch it out incoming fork will be an interesting matter to affect the alt movements.

If the market was hedging with altcoins, bitcoin would be going down vs altcoins up not the opposite like what is happening now. I can tell you right now, that all the big wig bitcoin investors I know want that forked coin. The market has learned from the the last fork, that a split is not to be feared anymore. It is to be embraced! Free coins = more money! They aren't getting back in to alts until after they get there new coin.

Yeah, I don't think it's reasonable to think that when there's another btc more people get interested in buying altcoins and stuff. I really think it can lead to both dumps and pumps. As for bitcoin cash and another something coming next - I think it's not fair to do stuff like that and it's very negligent of the danger it puts the one and real bitcoin. Please, let's not fall for clones with slight differences and choose what the dev team has chosen!

I think some altcoins will boom after the hardfork. But there are some coins that are still mooning with Bitcoin. Elix is one of that coins. Had a really crazy pump in the last days.

I think there is way to many altcoins and ICO's being thrown in to the market. Its taking away from the growth of the real coins like ether, monero, litecoin, dash, xrp etc.. All these new coins like neo, gas, omg plus BCH fork and now a 2x fork is killing the growth of the older alt coins. I'm sticking to the old coins in hopes that some of the new shitcoins die off and investors return to the original coins that have been proven.
