IF we are considering bitcoin among the list of coins that you intend to compare, then my friend there has never been and never will be in near future a substitute of bitcoin.

I will like to nominate Nebilo (NEB), INXT and OPT. This are coins that are attached to an existing projects. NEB has no leftover coins after the ICO the remaining was burnt. and INXT has no decimal point and is attached to internet project and these coins are really liquid in the market.

Best coin is always bitcoin. If you are asking for alts then marketcap shows that second one ethereum and third is litecoin.
This is also shows the profit potential in long term.

For now I am crazy of SALT.  I can day trade it couple of times a day. The flow of volume in liqui exchanges is huge. This coin is really something.  The concept of the  project is interesting too.

XRP is garnering some positive attention from Bill gates. He wants to tap it for mobile payment system. similarly XLM got some attention from IBM for launching blockchain banking across globe. So I'd place a bet on these two.

Picking the"best coin" out there is subjective per se. Doing your own research is your best bet. There are a few variety of coins to choose from, you can classify them roughly as the following:

1. Currency coin - BTC
2. Platform coins - ETH, XRP, XEM, ARK, NEO
3. Privacy coins
4. Gaming coins
5. Utility coins
 and a whole lot more.

Trying to pick your best among them is a bit tricky. I suggest to get from the top 20-30 coins and choose a few blooming projects on lower rank coins as some maybe hidden gems. I'm personally rooting for DeepOnion for lower ranked coins, it's fairly new in the crypto space for privacy oriented coins. In fact they are still giving it away as an airdrop, check out their community here in BCT. It's probably one of the coins with the largest and most solid dev and community I've seen so far. Hope this helps Smiley

Some people says, ETH,LTC,OMG
and some people says LTC,ETC,NEM.
All is well. If I tell about best alt coin, then at first I tell you Waves. Because waves is my favourite coin. It has bright future. It will be more than now.

What do you think best coin is
I think the best coin according to me will be BITCOIN. It is the first crypto currency and has a higher market capital than any other coin available out there. It is also the crypto which has the highest acceptance all over the globe as it is without any doubt the most popular cryptocurrency. It is also considered as one of the fastest growing investments in the entire world.
You can expect the price of Bitcoin to be above 10,000$ within 2-3 years for sure.

Now I like the BitConnect Coin. Because results amaze me, even in the last 6 months coin jumped from 0.5$ to 200$. What can not but leave oneself in the shadows. This crypto currency is also convenient because it can be traded directly between members of the community, thereby making trading much easier and more convenient.

Of course, the best coin around is BTC, still, no other coin can beat BTC at its current state, as of the moment, BTC continues to go up.
