I don't have any interest about that BCH thing in my mind, but certainly bitcoin fork was just a mere speculations and I believed it's controlled by an organizations connected to blockchain network. Holding bitcoin as of now can be profitable for long term investments as price now rising towards $5000 in each bitcoin. |

The answer is for you to have the same as you did with bch. I do not know what to do with the bitstream segwit2x do to give birth to a bitcoin anymore. Everyone expected to bc a lot to replace the bitcoin but it did not work as expected even at one time it cost even less than eth and now it comes a bitcoin subchanger again do not know the price But hopefully when bch was born it made the bitcoin price push up so it was not known if this one made the price of bitcoin exceed 5k.

It is better to hold a trash coin rather than bitcoin gold. Just look at its name "bitcoin GOLD" lol. It means that it is not gold and fake. If it is gold, it does not need to indicate that. Don't buy btc for bitgold. If you have btc already, hold it.

I think it would have been better for bitgold to have been the term for Bitcoin cash at the last split. I just don't have high hopes on another fork so soon after the last split. Almost feels like a trap that will have the opposite effect of the last split. I hope not for everyone's sake but it does have me worried. If this is the last fork for awhile it would be nice to see some growth organically that is not due to such a major event.

Based on my experience on the first hard fork/splitting of BCH and BTC that was good to hold your money in bitcoin because you can get income in those two coin, the share of stock of you hold bitcoin has given a corresponding percentage of profit. But do not forget to choose to received your fund in bitcoin together with your profit because last split BTH value is too high but in just a couple of hours only few investors support this coin that is why the value starting to dump. |

How i wish i can paste some face palm sticker here. Anyway, bitcoin gold is just a name. It has nothing to do with gold. Just like bitcoin cash, it has nothing to do with cash. Both bitcoin gold and bitcoin cash is meant to be a fork from the bitcoin. This may result in a chain split to happen and if you are holding one bitcoin, you will be given a bitcoin gold too. This already have happen to bitcoin recently with the bitcoin cash fork. I would be more interested to see if bitcoin price will rise after this fork as that is what happen to bitcoin cash fork. |

Bitcoin will always be the best and it will come across through many competitors but it will always be on the top as a crypto currency and no other currency can ever replace bitcoins.
Maybe, but do you remember NOKIA, they never dominate the world of technology in mobile phones. But now they are in what rank! Because there is no development of their technology. Bitcoin is the pioneer of crypto currency. Now still a king of crypto currency. But the future of technology does not know. It can all change. |

IIRC, yes.
Basically whenever Hard Fork Happens
It is like copy-pasting an existing blockchain with existing records and creates a new chain.
So yea, for x btc amount, you would have x btg amount depends on the Supply distribution set

until now bitcoin is very profitable for long-term investments because the current btc price is more than $ 4000. Forks are only speculation controlled by blockchain network. and i started saving in btc to get bitcoin gold.

That's so some branches of bitcoin fork. If the core is split, it will probably be just like any other altcoin. |
