I don't have any interest about that BCH thing in my mind, but certainly bitcoin fork was just a mere speculations and I believed it's controlled by an organizations connected to blockchain network. Holding bitcoin as of now can be profitable for long term investments as price now rising towards $5000 in each bitcoin. |

Yes. You will receive a free portion of coins for holding BTC. You might want to store those coins because people will be dumping the coins once they get it converted to the other one. |

No man, This doesn't make sense to see the bitcoin was turning into the mother of the forked coin. What the heck with the bitcoihn eventually the forked will be happening that the new coin will be issued due to the fork of bitcoin itself. 100 fork for bitcoin and another 100 shit coin will be appearing too? |

The answer is for you to have the same as you did with bch. I do not know what to do with the bitstream segwit2x do to give birth to a bitcoin anymore. Everyone expected to bc a lot to replace the bitcoin but it did not work as expected even at one time it cost even less than eth and now it comes a bitcoin subchanger again do not know the price But hopefully when bch was born it made the bitcoin price push up so it was not known if this one made the price of bitcoin exceed 5k.

Oh God! Hard Fork again? I think it's a good strategy to keep Bitcoin on top - hard forks should be made to compete other promising Alt Coins... What do you think?

It is better to hold a trash coin rather than bitcoin gold. Just look at its name "bitcoin GOLD" lol. It means that it is not gold and fake. If it is gold, it does not need to indicate that. Don't buy btc for bitgold. If you have btc already, hold it.

I think it would have been better for bitgold to have been the term for Bitcoin cash at the last split. I just don't have high hopes on another fork so soon after the last split. Almost feels like a trap that will have the opposite effect of the last split. I hope not for everyone's sake but it does have me worried. If this is the last fork for awhile it would be nice to see some growth organically that is not due to such a major event.

Haha. Not sure if serious or trying to make a joke but lol. This made me laugh. For the benefit of everyone else with the same question, bitcoin GOLD is just a name. And it is no more interesting than a rock to non-technical people. Bitcoin gold contains "upgrades" to bitcoin that nobody even wants. As far as i know, the people who are trying to push this bitcoin gold are those who want to have control of bitcoin's development (for power and profit). Hope that ELI5s it for you. |
