There is significant progress in the github if you one pays attention. The MVP is nearly finished, now there are modifications being made to allow for multiple user gateways.

Sentinel has the first ERC20 Smart Contract Based Bandwidth resource identification and monitoring system (safe and secure).
Currently this system depends on bandwidth data logs from OpenVPN session history and soon there will be development on a unique Proof-Of-Bandwidth algorithm.


Utility Chain:
Team will be attempting to create a fully functional ‘utility chain’ on the tendermint platform that will successfully utilize ethermint to allow for the ERC20 smart contracts to be operable with the tendermint codebase.

This article explains how the Hard Cap of USD14.4million for pre-sale/public is calculated for SENC tokens. It is calculated as such to prevent the volatility of ETH price from affecting the SENC token price on the day of the crowdsale, at the same time ensuring that the pre-sale bonus of 25% is maintained for the pre-sale buyers who invested in Q4 of 2017.

Users can host nodes at their own risk, openvpn is only 1 hop. May take few weeks or more to build strong relay network
but we can offer one with the best hop/relay customization settings that anyone has seen out there.

Documentation will be released on how to host nodes. Governance will come soon, for now one can utilize one of the first smart-contract based bandwidth resource monitoring and payment gateway technology.

Sentinel ERC20 Test – SENT TEST
The upcoming release of the Sentinel MVP allows for users to make use of the first implementation of OpenVPN in ReactNative in order to connect to community hosted exit nodes as well as setup their own node and monetize on bandwidth. The application runs directly from the user wallet.

This MVP will first be launched on the Sentinel Test Net which will be another identical ERC20 chain with the same smart contracts as the original SENT chain.
This Test Net will provide a safe and secure platform to test the client throughput as well as transaction related smart contract security.

Sentinel VPN MVP Prototype Accepting Testers

Users can test out the VPN functionality by connecting to existing nodes or host nodes of their own.

Currently only Linux users can host nodes and also through the console. Soon there will be interface and applications built for users to host nodes on multiple OS.

Exit node testers will have to install docker, pull the docker image, configure the node, and run the program.
