I am new to BTC, and I was long time thinking, what will happen if my private key will be used by someone, will I lost any..? Thanks

“If you don't own your private key, you don't own your bitcoins.”

Here's the quote of Andreas M. Antonopoulos;

Quote
“The private key must remain secret at all times because revealing it to third parties is equivalent to giving them control over the bitcoins secured by that key. The private key must also be backed up and protected from accidental loss, because if it’s lost it cannot be recovered and the funds secured by it are forever lost, too.”

Read more here so that you can have some insights.

If your private key has been discovered by others it is certain that they will have access to your wallet. And tokens may be stolen in your wallet. That's what you should keep in mind. You should not give that information to anyone. Because they will have access to your wallet

Here's an example.
Sometimes people here fill in bounty spreadsheets, or a list for an airdrop etc.

Recently someone joined a project (forgot which one it was) and accidentally pasted his privkey in the sheet instead of his eth address.
By the time he noticed all his eth was gone.

Eventually, you will if they know what are those. Make sure you make onother one when you lost or made it public accidentally.

If this is your admission, many people will see it. Doing so quickly is to transfer all your funds to that wallet because they will have access to it and they can steal your tokens. So we need to take care of every move so that's not going to happen

Say goodbye to your tokens or btc if your wallet has balance,  if you dont have any balance on your wallet and you accidentally shared it in public its alright. Your private is your only access to login on your wallet,as long as nobody knows it your bitcoins are safe.

It won't be a "private key" if it's not private right? Of course there is a 99.99% chance that you will not be able to see your coins in your wallet if someone else is using it already and expect it to be stolen.

It was a big mistake, don't post your private key in the public place but if your wallet is empty, it is okay! Make a new one then jot it down or save it to your laptops or any something private. The private key is very important and it will remain secret, you only own your private key so should be careful about keeping this. This is the same of keeping your money in a real wallet.

Quickly send your BTC to a new  BTC address which private key is not posted anyway. Once you expose your private key, someone else can access your BTC wallet and take your BTC.

Private Key is like your vault with lots of money, so don't ever try to share it with your friends or even strangers. just show to the one who you trust with.. e.g family or love ones

what do you think would happen if you leave you cash on a park bench?

the same thing will happen to your bitcoin if you leave your private key on the internet somewhere. the more crowded, the faster it will go Wink

Avoid doing this at all costs. My wallet just got hacked and the hacker stole my Bitcoin as they got access to my private keys. Anyone who has them can steal your coins. I did not have 2FA setup so there was no hope. Best not to make te same mistake I did. Thankfully, it was not a lot of BTC. Needless to say if you posted your private key somewhere then you should delete the post and move the funds from that address.

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

Most likely your BTC balance will be gone. Always keep your private key safe and the last thing to do is to post it online.

You won’t post your password online as well right?

Don't ever think about that and dont let it happen. It will be the end of all your bitcoin in an instant.
You will just be lucky if no one knows about it in that forum you will be posting it.  Grin

Yes obviously, someone will try to track your bitcoin adress and then he will try to login to your wallet.. but i think that if you have 2fa activated on your account, and a password, it is impossible to spend your bitcoins with only a private key. anyway, i am not sure about this, but i think that i saw this option on my wallet.
but it is a horrible idea to post a private key on here, a ridiculous one.

I am new to BTC, and I was long time thinking, what will happen if my private key will be used by someone, will I lost any..? Thanks
If you accidentally post your private key you could lost all you coins inside your wallet because anybody can access it. If you notice it early and you check your coins are still there, create a new wallet and transfer it immediately in a new wallet. You can also use trading platform wallet if you think it would take time for you to create wallet.

There are bots scanning popular websites Bitcoiner's frequent that will scoop that money up in literally seconds after it appears. Even if you caught the mistake as soon as you did it and tried to move the money off the wallet it would already be gone since bots will do this nearly instantaneously. And it is more than one, the bots are in competition with one another as well so its not like you would stand a chance. It also doesn't matter which currency as I assume most of them are programmed to work with most of the popular coins.

Using the park bench analogy above, it would be more akin to leaving your wallet on a park bench during a crowded thieves convention being held at the same park.

It is possible due to human error that a newbie or someone else, can accidentally post Private Key somewhere Public, in such instance the best thing one can do is to remove the post as soon as possible or edit it so that Private key does not work. But if somehow you gave it to someone accidentally, then I will advise you to create a new wallet and transfer your assets from old wallet a.s.a.p.  But in all cases one should be very cautious while handling private keys.
