Hello guys,

I'm quite new on this forum.
I'm using blockfolio for a while now and it's pretty good.
Just hopping they will add multi-portfolio feature soon (it's a bit complicated with only one portfolio when you have a lot of altcoins).

Be aware if you have large amount on portfolio's apps that sometimes some apps are making some API call that hackers can sniffed if the calls are not correctly protected.
It is a way for hackers for finding targets with a large amount of tokens.

There was a problem like this on blockfolio app but it has been corrected since (reddit)

One good trick is to divide all your token's number by 10 or 100 (depends how many tokens you have).
Like this you have a portfolio with small value and diminue the chances being targeting by hackers Wink

People use different kinds of trackers. It just depends on your personal preference. Try these out, then go for the one you prefer the most:

Blockfolio app: Android PlayStore | Apple iTunes
AltPocket: https://altpocket.io
CoinTracking: https://cointracking.info
CryptoCompare: https://www.cryptocompare.com/portfolio/
CryptoFolio: https://cryptfolio.com

I was looking so long for this, thanks a lot, now I can handle it easy.

I personally use CryptoCompare, but I think all of them are worth recommending. A friend of mine told me about AltPocket I also heard that he was going in the right direction, but for now he does not need a change. I'm happy with what I have.

I use Blockfolio for a month and I can say that I'm satisfied. A simple application that provides many additional useful information despite the fact that track my portfolio. Provides live information on price changes depending on the exchange that you can choose. Perhaps the most importantly, no ads and its free.

Hi all,

as you're growing your portfolio, and start using different wallets and exchanges, and take part in ICOs, what are some ways you guys are tracking your portfolio across all these platforms?

I've BTC/ETH in CB, BTC in Bittrex, ETH in MEW, 4 different ICOs, and the list goes on...

seems like as this grows, it's increasingly hard to keep track, which wallet I used for ETH for an ICO, or which exchange I used to purchase alt coins etc.. I think it could get pretty confusing pretty quickly!

Any good ideas out there?

Thanks!
The most important thing is how much time you want to spend on it and whether you really care about privacy because even the easiest spreedshity will give you good control over what is going on.

I've currently use CryptoCompare witch works fairly well.  However, I've noticed that the prices it shows do not compare to CoinMarketCap. Plus it can be slow to load...

I will try the others on the list!

Plus I'm no good at excel so if anyone has an example spreadsheet to share that would be great!

Best of luck

I personally use https://altpocket.io/ because it has good security with 2FA and you can import Bittrex and Poloniex API keys to automatically calculate your portfolio.  Smiley

I love using Blockfolio.  It has a great user interface, great diagrams and charts, easy to read, has a news section with customizable sources.  Love it.

I used to keep an excel sheet, but now i just kinda remember everything. takes some getting used to and it gets difficult after you diversify into enough coins. Definitely not for everyone

I am personally not in favor of diversifying your crypto portfolio too much since you never know when your coin is going to betray you, moreover you need to keep checking their prices all the time for not missing any good opportunity of either grabbing them or selling them off. We should have limited coins in our portfolio for best management. Excel sheets are excellent for keeping tracks.

I also used excel sheet, but there you have to fill everything manually. In Altpocket.io you can import API from Bittrex or Poloniex and all prices are tracked automatically Wink

I'm using Blockfolio. That's why it's easier to see what's happening with the altcoins you hold and bitcoins. It's also easy to see how much money you have earned or your losses. You'll also see here how many percent each time altcoins raised, or even weeks. So Blockfolio works great for me because I'm no longer able to open my accounts with exchangers...

I am less trader and more investor and I have tried more than 5 options to track my portfolio but to be honest, crypto compare is my personal favourite. Even though tracking portfolio is free on Cryptocompare at this moment, they might make it subscription based when it will be out of BETA version so if you are looking for free options, there are some apps there to do the same thing for you. However, my recommendation is Cryptocompare.

I've been using the Blockfolio for more than two months. The application is easy to use, free and without ads. I use it every day.
I am very pleased and I could hardly imagine my day without this application.
