Hi guys,
I had Electrum wallet setup on Sept 02, 2017. I have backed it up by storing seed, private keys and copy of wallet on usb flash drive.
Yesterday I wanted to spend some of my BTC from Electrum wallet and I kept getting "Invalid OTP" error, so i tried syncing my clock on mobile device with google authenticator and it said clock is already synced and never allowed me to send BTC out.
So then I decided to restore the wallet using SEED, now that wallet is restored it didn't show my BTC in wallet, I confirmed the green dot was there showing network connectivity was there. I thought then may be if I buy another small amount of BTC and send to Electrum wallet it might sync. But unfortunately, i only see the newly purchased BTC from today but still do not see my previous BTC balance. I can still see previous BTC if i open wallet saved from usb flash drive, its got green dot on network connection but for some weird reason both wallets do not show all BTCs in one place and i still cannot spend BTC from wallet created on Sept 02.
I have also tried restoring wallet on completely different computer but same result. So even though both wallets restored from same seed, they are not showing same balance.
Kindly please help !!!
Thank you in advance.

When you restored from your seed... did it come up with a "warning" saying that you were restoring a 2FA wallet? Did it ask if you wanted to "keep or disable" Two Factor Authentication?

If it didn't, then the seed you have is NOT for your 2FA wallet that is asking for "One Time Passwords"

Did you save your bitcoin address(created on sept.2 ) where you save your bitcoin? hope to share it with us. .
And let me know if you already tried to use private key to recover your bitcoin address where you save your bitcoin?

So that we can track the problem between your bitcoin and your wallet..

If you can give us your address we can check if your bitcoin is still there. And since you backup your private keys you should recover it and use private keys instead of using seeds..  so that you can directly seen your bitcoin with the single address where you save your bitcoin ..

Your post is so confusing. Let me get some things cleared out first, You created a 2FA wallet with a new seed on 2 sept. You received some btc's on an address generated from that seed, Then you tried to spend some btcs but it failed because of 2FA sync time issue, So you decided to restore your wallet with the seed and when you restored, your btc's didnot appear? You thought that it was a sync issue so you sent some btc's to another address generated by the same seed and they appeared. You only see your earlier BTCs if you open the wallet file that you have on the usb drive. You see your new coins and old coins seperate on 2 different wallet files, This means that your usb wallet has a different seed and your new wallet has another seed. What you should do is load up the usb wallet and see its seed and compare it with the seed you have written down. I am sure that both wallets are using different seeds.

Hello everyone,
Thank you all for your reply. I have resolved the issue.
Thekool1s is right... i had custom seed keys added to my default 13 words. So while restoring wallet, i chose the option "extend this seed with custom words" and was able to restore original wallet from Sept 2nd.

Many thanks to all of you again to take the time to provide suggestions.
