So this will be an open ended contract between myself, the most influential members of the international super class, and any other party who, with consideration, also signs their name to it. Anyone who would like can republish it anywhere. If anyone knows an oligarch please forward.  Grin

Your systems of control are failing. You are running out of new suckers for your global ponzi. You are preparing for the battle that will inevitably ensue between yourselves and certain "rebellious" elements. Even if you are confident about the outcome of this battle even you recognize that the outcome is far from certain. I propose an alternative to conflict. I propose a compromise that will make both parties better off.

Your end: Expose your selves. Confess your crimes. Publicly abdicate your thrones. Dissolve your governments. Grant us our freedom.

our end: We pardon you of EVERY crime you ever committed. You will have a completely blank slate. you will never answer for anything you have done. Furthermore you can keep every last penny you acquired through any ill-gotten means.

This arrangement will be good for us because we can finally begin to afford to build decent lives for ourselves.

But where its really interesting is how it will positively impact you mr oligarch. You will be wealthy beyond imagination if you defeat us in battle and you will be wealthy beyond imagination if you accept this offer. But what would you prefer, to be kings of shit mountain, or opulently wealthy in a society that is orders of magnate more productive than even the west is today?

ask yourself this mr oligarch. Which do you think is more likely to grant you your coveted immortality? You know the answer, you know how much more productive man kind is when he is free and with this deal you get to keep all of your money, so you will certainly be able to afford it.

signed,
a sovereign individual

i give the wachowski brothers original credit for this concept as it was outlined already, i believe, allegorically in the matrix revolutions.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

I suggest you clean this up a little bit, fix the couple of spelling and grammar mistakes, print it on nice paper, and mail it to every politician in the world. Or maybe set up a website that would allow people to send it to their local politician.

Couldn't hurt.

also if you would be so kind as to point out the errors you noticed. I'm a very bad speller.

Well, once the editing is done, IMO the more desks this lands on, preferably with different return addresses on it, the better.

yea but would you rather be rich in north korea or rich in south korea? I think the better question is not whether, if they are rational at all they will recognize that i am correct. The difficult question is HOW. HOW on earth do you begin to unwind the government. Obviously just grabbing that giant Frankenstein on off switch and switching the government to off is not a viable solution.

if they want to avoid this war, that is really not in their interest to have any more than it is in ours, than they will just have to just figure that shit out. Figure out how to roll back government in the right ways at the right speed to avoid that war.

it was a rhetorical question. everyone already knows the answer (except apparently you).

Why the hell would I want to do that?

As to the How, if you read my "freedom of government" thread, I suggested one route, if those in power are amenable: Hold an election where everyone (well, everyone who gets at least one vote) wins. Panarchy, basically. It's a good first step toward anarchy.

While slightly ironic i dont think the idea of running for political office as an anarchist is logically self destructive. You could consciously decide at every voting/veto opportunity to vote/veto against expansion of government in any form. And to allow the rare passage of a bill that would actually scale back government in some way. You could do this as an anarchist. One thing you may need to do is in some way return your paycheck, as best you could, to the people who payed for it and you could live off of donations or w/e as long as it wasn't loot.

i was reffering to my earlier statement when i said that they wont give their powers simply no mather what, even if they would make a north korea all over the world. i wish i would wrong tho
