Well then you are looking about mining altcoins. Bitcoin mining has been ASIC-based only for several years now. I highly suggest you start by looking through the Beginners and Help section and then head over to Mining (Altcoins) area. Altcoin mining does not need high-end CPU's - it needs GPU's, normally several per-rig.

They also provide some understandable descriptions on how to get started. I am probably not doing it in a optimal way yet but i'm at least up and running , 1x 1080ti and 2x 780, mining BTCZ

There's a lot of Pools you can google it.  But i suggest you NiceHash.  You can still Mining without graphic card or any GPU. But it can take a lot of time since the mining without graphic card is to much low. I suggest you to buy a Graphic card if you want good income  in mining.
