The two main coins I have that are POS/DPOS are;
NEO => GAS. NEO generates GAS on time, you can claim them anytime.
ARK => ARK. ARK payments depend on the schedule your voted delegate does. Mine pays weekly at estimated 10% return per annum.
That's also the oney I hold for gaining dividends. Also keep in mind that Ark is a fork of Lisk so Lisk deligates also offers rewards for voting. Dividende wise I found ark is the most profitable one.

I think Finshi capital will be one of the lead in this. It's a fund, that invest money in ICO and others project and will give away 80% of their profit. Take a look in my signature

I can't figure out exactly how their buyback is supposed to work with the dividends being directly related to the token price... their telegram is highly unresponsive just copy+pastes from the whitepaper.

Honestly I do not know this project and I also do not see any information about it. Most of the reviews website for ICO have not reviews about Finshi capital, a minus point for a project want to open ICO while has not marketing.

The two most popular ones being NEO and ARK as already mentioned. I have not gotten into the NEO market yet but I plan to do so to although I missed the bought on the gas increase but still pays. ARK has suffered a bit as of late and dropped a bunch due to some market manipulation and a little scandal with an ICO but it should be bound for recovery soon and pays out weekly.

I bought some ARK but really don't understand what are you talking about , so please enlighten me ARK is DPOS (delegated proof of stake) I believe there are 51 delegates (almost like our Senators) who decide the path the coin takes. Being a coin holder, you have a vote for each of the coins you have. You can choose one of the 51 delegates and vote for one. In effect that delegate increases his stake (and power) by as much coin you hold. The delegates then in effect "mine" (your delegate is mining for you). They in turn get paid proportionate to their "holdings/votes" . These delegates then share percentage of their income to you. As incentive for your vote they promise a certain percentage, payment arrangement, etc. Unlike in politics, we usually vote based on the most advantageous payment to us. Now to be able to vote, you need to; 1. Download an ARK wallet. Chose which fits your computer. https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases 2. Install (carefully follow instruction and save the user address and the wallet key). Guard that key and do not give it to anyone! 3. Synch wallet (this can take many hours) 4. Move your coins from the exchange to your wallet 5. Vote by sending an Ark (1 Ark) to your chosen delegate. (some refund this vote coin) Use this calculator to help you determine the best candidate in your case https://github.com/ArkEcosystem/ark-desktop/releases...then just wait and see a regular deposit to your wallet at the frequency your delegate offered. Hope this helps.

I wonder if there is a place where you could lend out say BTC or altercoin and get paid interest for that. All of which could be secured by a smart contract? I know sites like freebitco.in pays a 4.8% interest on BTC, not sure if there are any ones for altercoins.

There are two that I know of right now and those are TenX and Bitcore. TenX has not paid out the dividends just yet and plans to do so soon, but bitcore does weekly drops to your local btx wallet. That 3% weekly drop adds up quick plus there will
be a big drop come the end of October or beginning of November.

Smart investment fund (SIFT) - Pays a monthly dividend with the first one coming in November. Basically, they swingtrade BTC and other major crypto coins.
Etherflip (FLIP) - Dice game like Etheroll. They also pay out bonuses and jackpots in other types of tokens like OMG, FUN, and EDG. They are currently doing a rather unique ICO where you can play the game, and if you lose you receive FLIP tokens. The first dividend is scheduled for Q1 next year.

Neblio, just buy and keep coins in wallet. I get rewards around twice a week. It works out to 10% per year. Plus with Nebl marketcap so low it's cheap to buy with plenty room for growth.
