we known  the dev team of dogecoin is gone!
is that possible that a new dev team take over the dogecoin?
The total market value of dogecoin is NO.53 now
and there is a lot of fans  of dogecoin all over the world
why the doge community don't make a plan to change the further of dogecoin?
such as adding some interesting function?  or change the sum of dogecoin!
i think is would better than  start a new ico project!   what do u think ? guys!

I would like to see a resurge of Dogecoin too, I have good memories of this coin because it was my first coin that I mined and I was able to make my first 0.1 BTC from it by selling at the peak, that was pretty good start in the crypto game.

The problem is, it's basically all based on a meme, and im not sure for how long you can keep pushing a meme with no technological improvements whatsoever, but im sure with enough marketing it could be at top20 coin.

There is no reason for such development because it's just a bitcoin clone. I don't think they can make implementation that will bring excitement to the dogecoin holders. They use it only for speculative reasons.

I missed the whole Dogecoin surge because I wasn't involved with crypto at the time but my impression of it was that it was intended to be a joke but people went with it.  With me atleast, get over the joke aspect makes it difficult to take it seriously.

Dogecoin is a meme coin. And though no active dev team, it used to have a good following community a few years back. It was endorsed by celebrities and was involved in car racing as I remember. But the thing that killed them might be the constant issuing nature of coin which always brought inflation.

The name 'Doge' is a big Brand in crypto! The Dev that created it might have move on to some other things! It is left for the community to take it over and add some value to it! Value is easy to add; find a problem, and provide solution!

As it was created for fun, there was less seriousness involved. The only reason this coin stayed so long was it was one of the first crytpcoins to be issued, and one easiest to mine. I believe they too had browser mining for some time.

Good question!

Maybe devs wanted to start their own coins (fresh)rather than taking over doge.

I think if someone wanted to start a serious project, they wouldn't take over a coin that was a joke. Dogecoin doesn't really offer anything... there are quite a few coins like that (cough... bitcoin cash).

It is a pity that the doge coin is abandoned. Hopefully someone will take over.
