Hi all, what do you think of emcash. Dubai's very own cryptocurrency. will it be a new emerging coin in the market? Will ICOs companies start to accept emcash?

As far as I know it is tied to emPay wallet in order to stimulate contactless payments.
However, I could not find any information whether this cryptocurrency will be for use of Dubai citizens or residents only. Anyway I think it's relatively new crypto and not so well-recognized as another cryptocurrency launched before, so no, it will not be accepted by ICO companies in the nearest future.

The government of Dubai has revealed details of its own blockchain-based cryptocurrency, called emCash.

In major news coming out of the UAE, the government of the city of Dubai will develop and implement emCash, an encrypted blockchain-powered digital currency that will enable citizens to pay for government and non-government services alike.

Emcash is the official cryptocurrency of Dubai (UAE).
I think emCash is great Altcoin to look up to because it is the first cryptocurrency to be backed by the government.

I think it's interesting to see how this will go. Dubai is the first to release a government backed cryptocurrency token. I'm very curious how this will develop. If it turns out to be a succes we might see more governments picking up to the trend. We shall see.

EmCash is going to be UAE's first ever crypto currency and US will also pay a big role in it in some regulation aspects I believe. And the reason for the UAE government to introduce Emcash is that they are going to be the host of EXPO 2020 and they want to attract as many people as possible and to create a opportunity for governments to put their eyes on the development of UAE and for collaboration and to maintain peace in their territory. EmCash will be very much successful only because of the time they have decided to bring it in,the time when crypto currency was booming and the entire world facing a recession.
