Hey guys, the DMarket team here.

Recently, our slack account has been hacked. Due to Slack's security weakness, users subscribed to DMarket's Slack channels have started receiving spam messages via slackbot, claiming that Dmarket was having some issues with the security of Ethereum wallets'

Similar messages have been sent from personal accounts as well:

Moreover, a huge number of slack subscribers started receiving spam emails galore from the official enjin's sales email regarding their ICO.

Here are some examples of the aforementioned case: https://imgur.com/a/FbvsG (a folder with screenshots)

Side note: emails included have NEVER been subscribed to any sort of enjin's newsletters and have never visited their website.
The evidence stated above makes us believe, that enjin uses illegal scam techniques in a bid to attract new users\investors to their platform.

We would also like to point out that ONLY users subscribed to the Slack channel received spam emails. Our main Dmarket email base remains intact.

We think that this kind of approach is absolutely unacceptable for many reasons and would like to pay both crypto community and investors attention to the case. Please be very cautious when looking into the possibility of investing in enjin. In our opinion, there is no place for 'shady dealers' in a fair and transparent market.

If you have any further questions don't hesitate to contact us.

Best,
DMarket.io Team

I thought slack is known to be easily hacked.
Why would enjin team do what you mention here ? Their ICO doing quite well and I have joined the presale too.

These emails are not from the Enjin team, we never send emails from "sale@enjincoin.io", and we only ever contacted people who have opted-in to receive updates on our website.

You have received this email from someone else posing as Enjin who has copied our email format.

D_market, not only are you 100% wrong but completely unprofessional. To accuse us of scamming without doing any research on the matter is a clear sign of your team’s incompetence.

If you want to talk about scamming here is something everyone should be aware of regarding Dmarket and to think twice before you invest:

This is Dmarket’s main team as found on their official website https://dmarket.io/

Now check this other ICO called DreamTeam https://token.dreamteam.gg/

Anything suspicious here? (Notice how they added an extra Y on 'Alexander Kokhanovsky', using different photos and swapping the heads order) The exact same founding team are in both ICOs 17 Days apart. You may be thinking the other site is a scam? No, they are actually running 2 ICOs using the same team at the same time!

Why would you run 2 ICOs at the same time from the exact same team? There is no logical explanation here apart from trying to extract as much money from people who are not aware of this. Shame on you! At least complete the road map for one of your ICO (which one are you doing?) before starting another!

OP you should stop accusing others without any valid proof. May be people would have received emails from Enjin team's name but that doesn't justify that they were ones doing it. It might be scammers using their name in order to create a fight among the two teams.
Your account was hacked and that's a sad thing but you should contact the Enjin team about the issue if you have any doubts on them rather than accusing them without any valid proof. Be a gentleman, it's a public forum we are talking into.
