I believe studies have shown that happiness is maximized once you reach $70k USD annual income. Anything above that was not shown to increase the levels of happiness.

As the old saying, "Money cannot buy happiness." I beg to disagree. Money can make you happy because you can buy things that will make you happy. We know that it is very disappointing that if we want something and we can't buy this because we don't have money. That's how I see that. Money really can buy happiness. Happiness for short period of time or for a life time.

Money can indeed buy you a lot of things, things that might make you happy. However, I think that the conundrum here is how long can that thing that you bought make you happy. You see, happiness is a temporary feeling but joy is a long lasting condition of the heart. You can be happy now but be sad after several hours or days, but joy on the other hand gives you satisfaction despite of you not getting what you want. Now, I think the question should be: can money buy joy?

I think, that money can't give you happiness, but it gives you opportunities to do what you whant: play sports, science, art, help people, etc. And do what you like - this is happiness.

money can buy happiness as you can see in our society. if you are happy if you have a girlfriend, girlfriend will come if you have money. if you want a brand new laptop or car for your happiness, you need also a money. money is the cause of happiness as of now.

Money can help to make you happy because you can get what you want when you have an extra or more money with you. But things are different when you are not happy with the life that you have even if you are rich and yet you are not contented with the way of living that you have. The contentment in life and not money or being rich can supply the happiness in life. |

Happiness is not like some commodity which you can purchase from the market. It can't be directly bought for money. On the other hand, we need to take the indirect route. You need to analyze and see what are the things which makes you happy. And these things can be purchased with money. So the conclusion is, in most of the cases money can buy happiness. |

Yes, it can but only for actual or physical things like gadgets and clothes. But if you are talking about feelings emotions it can not, because if you want someone to be happy you need to express and show love. Well if you're given 1million dollars, you've be a hypocrite if you say you're not going to be ecstatic. Money can get you ptetty much most things that can make you happy these days. Simple to extravagant, most of us has material wants. Of course it's mot enough to make you happy entirely but it definitely can buy happiness most of the time |

When you're broke - nothing can bring you enough happiness. Other statements are hypocrite.
But for money - you just can help the folks you love and as the result it will make you happy. And you;re supposed to be with money, NOT broke, So to go on saying money can't make you happy is wrong. Money can help make you happy. That is for sure.

still im in doble mind..can i agree to this or not.some time we need money...actually in modern world..no happy without money.we wanat money even for drink some water..i f somebody telling can live happily without money..its 100% false..but ther is other side.money it self not bring happiness to life.i have seen so many people witb lots of money are struggling with there lives.important thing is money mangemebt and stress management.

money can buy happiness? i think not all. money can buy a very lovely and expensive House but you can never buy a HOME. Somehow you can buy some medicines that we need if we have a unpleasant feelings, there is a happiness in that because we have money to buy, BUT we can't buy LIFE. no matter how rich we are, no matter how many bank accounts we have we never buy LIFE, Life is a Happiness. another situation is, we can buy a person we want to marry if there is possible but we can't buy their LOVE. So Money CANNOT buy happiness.
