Your post is confusing. Are you looking for someone to design an ANN page for you or are you looking into designing it for someone? Either way, price is relative. It all depends on how comprehensive the design is. This is really difficult to answer.

Anyone can post an Announcement thread free here. But the brand new accounts cannot display images. If you are asking how much one would take to post on behalf of you, well why will anyone do that as your announcement can have an impact on the account itself if anything goes wrong.

Designing and making an ANN thread has different was of doing and you'll be lucky enough to find someone that's willing to do 2 jobs with 1 payment rate. Most of the ANN threads it will cost you 0.01 BTC - 0.1 BTC depending on the quality of the thread or your contract between the person that will do the job.

And OP, do you mean creating ANN thread in altcoin section? AFAIK it's free currently but there was discussion about that and maybe in near future you will have to pay for that and you will have to show some things to some trusted members which will take some days (I amn't often in altcoin section and don't know if that's now accepted but I remember that theymos posted similar post in meta).
But if you want to make just sinple ANN thread with images, create thread yourself and include everything and then ask someone to quote your comment. In this way everything will be ok, ask to some kind man and I think you will get that job done for free.

Wow it is interesting to read all the replies in this thread, anyway, you can post it by yourself, an ann thread is a post introduction for your project, i agree that theymos should start charging 0.05 btc per ann thread, this would stop a lot of scammy altcoins being published everyday. Dont hire anyone, just post it, i see it unnecesary to pay someone 300 dollars in order to see your ann published.

I suggest you to make the prize pool at least $300-$500 to attract the good designers around.

Is that how it really cost? $300-$500. It is too much if so, but I do not know yet if that is the market of ANN thread in thos forum. But I guess it is reasonable tho. ANN thread is so hard to make even in a simple design it really takes time and need to make it on time to have it and get the taste of your client.
You can contact me if you still.not found the one you are looking for, I can do the service or job in so affordable price you could ever have. As long as the ANN is not that complicated to undestand and to be done.

Hello, my estimate on quoting an ANN thread design usually vary on how long the content has. 1-10 sections has different rate compared to 11-20 sections. Will show you one great example

sample is this one from Betphinex I made, they have 8 sections

It affects the workload depends on how many sections it has that's why it also affects the price.
