I wouldnt be surprised if this coin did well come 2018. It seems like a lot of coins in the past month and coming months are coming out with either a name based on ethereum or bitcoin. It will be interesting to see which one

of these coins does well. One could only imagine that one of them will do well, just look at coinmarketcap and you see bitcoindark way up there. Patience is key with these coins folks, hodl and you will be golden.

This was my first airdrop. I failed to get anything from the Airdrop but did some profit by buying the coin from etherdelta. I hope I have better luck next time. There seems to be more of these airdrops.

the guy made an erc20 token, named it eBTC, kept 5%, and gave away the rest away.  it's so simple, wish I thought of it.

He kept 2% according to the group in telegram! The guy is generous most dev will be rationing the coin! Most well distibuted coin with generous heart made the dev millionaire in less than 48hrs!

Maybe we should all pitch in and give back like 5% of our bags to thank him and encourage greater development?   Grin

Might be in order Smiley If I remember correctly there will soon be a proof of stake for this coin. He will be able to make more of these. He can use it as fund for the development.

Its hard to predict a coins future without a purpose. I realize having BTC in the name alone helps the cause, but it needs a bigger purpose than being the bitcoin on ethereum network. And yes I hold some coins.

I agree, besides it is the cryptosphere is full of manipulation and deceit.  Better know what you are trading and do a full research,  though I think it is quit misleading since they are just using the popularity of Bitcoin and the fact that they even put the ticker on their name.  Don't the developer think of a better name?

Atleast originally it was an artificial bump with low volume. The trades offered in etherdelta yesterday made no sense unless it was for pumping purpose (bids were constantly higher sometimes even double than what was asked, also with tiny amounts). Apparently who ever is doing it is able to keep going on. The price is still going up.

Etheredelta might be a factor here. For many its hard to trade there so the volume does not become exponential. I think in the end the whales are going to join and they will drop the coin hard when they squeeze the profits out of it.

Wow! Good for those who get their free ebtc from the airdrop. I was unfortunate that I didn't get any but I'm happy for those who did. I suggest that you keep on holding your ebtc for the meantime because its price might keep on rising. I'm reading a lots of good feedbacks about it recently.
I'm one of the lucky people who received eBTC but I exchanged it too early. I sell it only with the price of 0.19 USD and now i'm regretting seeing that you can sell it now at 0.6 USD lol. I could have earned a lot of money if i only sell at the right time.
Price is rising to the moon... over 300% since yesterday...

Id advice to sell all now if you can. This sounds bad:
Quote
Someone registered 61 ETH addresses to receive eBTC, then transfered eBTC to 2 wallets:
https://etherscan.io/token/0x2fd41f516fac94ed08e156f489f56ca3a80b04d0?a=0x196ea6e32c4e3e1b6624509d212ae4c441c070a9
https://etherscan.io/token/0x2fd41f516fac94ed08e156f489f56ca3a80b04d0?a=0xf2454811ca5972fba734063eb14341703c6785aa

He now have 23 BTC.

But it's not fair for other people, many people said they didn't receive the airdrop token.
Quote
Quote
GDo not buy eBTC tokens, the contract is flawed, total supply is uncapped!

Can confirm, the code is ridiculous.

function distributeEBTC(address[] addresses) onlyOwner {
    for (uint i = 0; i < addresses.length; i++) {
        balances[owner] -= 245719916000;
        balances[addresses] += 245719916000;
        Transfer(owner, addresses, 245719916000);
    }
}

What I don't get is, why would people pay so much money for a name without idea?
Why would people pay so much money for a coin we can't use for anything?

Yeah the airdrop was to the erc-20 address you provided. The coins only worth .20$ now I'm pretty sure and it'll only drop lower as time goes by

Well, I am not so sure about an upcoming price drop. Once it gets listed on a major exchange it will generate some serious interest, and then the price will shoot up. For me, I am holding.

Those members with multiple alt accounts must be swimming in money now. I know this is just a scamcoin that is being pump and dump and I'm still wondering on why traders still buy it? I guess they want to give their hard-earned cash for free.
