I agree that if you don't take risks you will never (or almost never) win or improve. But I think it is as important taking risks as being wise. Turning all your money, means that next time you want to make a payment you will need to access to your Bitcoins right? In this moment is totally ok, because Bitcoin is in its never ending growing. But in some moment there is the possibility that all goes down or that you got hacked. What you will do then? Ok you can survive in lots of ways and restart your life from 0. If you have someone depending on you, is much more tricky, hard and difficult.

Also there is the possibility that never goes down and you succeed in your decision. In my opinion, if you want to take the risk, and you have assured incomes coming each month from other parts, and you don't have people depending on you, then yes turn all what you have right now into bitcoins. If this is not your situation, I would suggest that you invest part of your money, but not the whole. Yes it is so risky and impractical. If you want to hold Bitcoins make sure that you secure fiat. You must devide your money into different wallet so that if one fails you have back up. We must consider every situation to have our plan A, plan B or even plan C. It is so frustrating if all of your money crashes, no one wanted it to happen tho.

I must say with such enthusiasm that it is very risky indeed to turn and convert

People have daily, weekly and monthly expenses wherein cash is required.
Investing in bitcoins is a good strategy no doubt, some might even agree with
