Reddit users can now use the site’s bitcointip bot to offer a financial thumbs-up to fellow redditors on any subreddit. Previously, the feature worked only on the Bitcoin subreddit. I think this new ability will help generate awareness of bitcoin to the internet masses. I encourage anyone who has extra change to tip. It's one of the best marketing tools we have.

Very true. I'm wondering what happens if you try to tip someone that doesn't have a BTC address yet (or doesn't even know what it is)... I get Reddit - but I don't actively use it. Could someone conceivably make a full time living off of it with intelligent trolling (spreading good detailed info for 18-20 hrs a day?) Heck I barely got going on here from the lure of free BTC for trying out new svcs. Probably goes to a Reddit holding BTC address assigned to the user and fwds to the users address once setup. (I'm talking from IMHO lingo and not from any stated facts anywhere) |

Perhaps it is time to get on Reddit and spread some (very little) Bitcoin wealth around..
Hopefully more sites incorporate features like this in the future.
