Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

You can run a wallet on a VPS, but I would make sure you have multiple off VPS backups of your wallet.dat.

Are you trying to mine with the VPS, or just use it as your wallet?

I would like to run PoS Wallet and keep it with VPS 24h/day.
I tried to do with Linux, but my experience is not enough to install it.
So I found Windows VPS solution and just wondering, if I can run it "like at home". Just copy the wallet there and run.
Because I have never got Windows VPS, my question is "really simple"  Smiley

Have you got any experience with Windows 2016? The thing is that I don't know if I can run Win10 or Win7 wallet.
Can you tell me little more?

Thank you.

Try it and see - Win 2016 is the server version, so some things might be locked down, but it should work.
