I'm hoping to run a full Ethereum node on a windows machine ... does anybody have any idea about the minimum cpu, hard-drive space/type, ram and internet connection speed needed to handle a full node?

I'm running few full nodes with these specs:
Dual Xeon L5640, 32GB RAM, 3TB HDD, 250/100 Broadband,
This setup is fully stable and operable.
Hope that helped.

Thats a pretty sweet setup you got there. Monthly bill must cost you something too right? May I ask why you run a full eth node and do you earn anything from it?

The way I see it, it may be needed soon when ETH moves to POS but for now, what is your reason running a full node? If there are any other besides the two reasons i googled below:

1. "You can run a full node to support the ethereum network"
2. "So your best way to benefit from a node is that it removes your need to trust anyone."
