You mean convert ETH into USD and then get it transferred to your bank account, right?

In that case, the most convenient way is going to be using an exchange to first convert ETH into BTC, and then using localbitcoins to find an offer on your coin. The whole process is simple and secure, and you're protected by the inbuilt escrow.

But to get the best rates, you should use something like Kraken or Bitstamp.

Go to join Kraken. Sell your ETH for dollars or euros etc and request a bank transfer directly to your account. You won't need to provide a document for verification, but you will have to be a verified  membertier 2 at least. You just fill your name, last name, dob, address and bank details and it's ok.

Kraken informed me that they are having wire transfer issues right now with US Banks. Why does it seem to be so difficult to wire or ACH money directly to my bank account from these bitcoin exchanges/wallets? Jeez
