Probably this guy.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=224955

His alias : Trojan and he got email id's of bitcointalk users from a database dump.

I'm one of the few who has the dump and all the passwords, but wouldn't even think of using the info nefariously. I do use the names to research bitcoiners if they're somehow attached to some scheme though, like Sonny Vleisides' cousin, Andrew.

It's just sad people would waste talent and skills on trying to rob non-profit orgs.

The revolution begins with the mind and ends with the heart. Knowledge for all, accessible to all and shared by all

Also got a call from 310-929-5640 around the same time as the email... more than likely related.

Here's the log of the email... it's laughable.  Wink

Man that log was hilarious. It sounds like a 1.3 meter kid   is trying to threaten a huge dude who's 2 meters tall.

I told him I was out of bitcoins and offered to meet him in person with cash to persuade him not to divulge my SSN.   He stopped responding.   Grin

I just received a gmail from a person demanding all my bitcoins or else he'd hack my accounts. What made the message interesting is that he claimed to be the person who hacked Matonis. These kids today. Hacking paper wallets is hard.

trojanye@gmail.com if anyone wants to check him out

Give me all your Bitcoins or I will take all your accounts including Marlenes.

If you think i'm bluffing try me...

I was the one who got into all of Jon Matonis's accounts.

So I guess he has access to my common access card and also my Yubikey.
I always get emails asking me about BTC HYIPs. It makes me  Sad

I bet that even wasn't a kid, jus some halfwit.

Kids are actually a lot more intelligent than people try to represent them as now.

My son picked up my phone and asked siri "what is 2 to the power of 16" - it told him, he said "thanks, bye" - it said "No problem see you next time" oml - homework Smiley

Kids are great - guidance is great too
