I was mining bitcoin back in 2011 but lost my wallet/gave up etc etc...

Is it still worthwhile getting back into crypto?

any time is good to enter  into crypto trading. just you have to know about this field. next you have to invest bit coin trading later you have to get idea.really it is good time to start to crypto currency. in some country's offering bit coins for their salary. so seriously bit coin has great demand.you have to invest in bit coins, eth coins and alt coins.

I think you should've kept doing it in 2011, I can't imagine how much you regret it now. I believe it's still a good time to enter, as crypto is not mainstream yet and people barely know about it.

The crypto subject is more and more common in mainstream media, which means that each day they become more popular.

Of course, it is worth getting interested in - in my opinion it is the future of financial markets.

As for mining, unfortunately it is not as profitable as in 2011 but you can still find some altcoins with low dificulty, so you can try.. But with so many alts on market it is much more difficult for them to rise the price.

Watch and learn before taking the plunge. After a while you will recall the recent history of a coin/alt and have a better idea of whether the price is good, bad etc.
Also, start small and check the fees on different exchanges

Well, yes, he could now boldly have thousands of dollars if he constantly gained knowledge and did good business, but it is never too late, everything can be done "again"!

Anytime is a good time to get into crypto, but it will be best if you get into it now instead of waiting more years.

Price is getting higher and higher each day last week it just hit the all time high of $5800, even if it is falling right now
the graph will still go up. So for you not to regret it get into crypto as early as possible. Don't wait for the price to go
back to the 3000 level as it might be impossible.

i asked the same question when Bitcoin hit $1000 USD.  I regretted not getting in at that time once it reached $2,800.  I finally got in at around $2,400 and I'm glad I did.  Stellar Lumens jumped 166% a couple days ago.  BitConnect has soared into the top 10 recently.  There's so many opportunities out there that any time is a good time to get into crypto.  Just do your due diligence first and actually know what you're buying.

I think it is. Why not try? Remember giving up is always worst choice you can make. I had break from crypto too, I sold all my coins (NAV and few others) back in 2016 and realised in 2017 NAV was 2$. Mining will be hard but possible if you have money to invest in good mining ring. I have a friend with 7X 1080 Nvidia's and he is making profit in Poland for sure using wwww.nicehash.com

I have 2X Radeon's 270X and I mine only crypto only few hours a day, my work commitments (mixed shift patterns) not allow me to run miner 24h. It's a couple of dollars only for 2 weeks mining.

On the other side investing in ICO's or coins is the way to go. Bitcoin is slowly rising too.. Price predictions are 7500 then 10.000 I know it sounds crazy but last time I heard that about 2000$ price. I personally invested small amount of my monthly  income in few ICO's - and I will keep them for long term and I might get rewarded one day. Stick to rules not invest amount you can not afford to lose and you should be just fine.

it's wothwhile, maybe not for the mining but the entire crypto landscape offers a lot of opporunities besides that. The technology itself is worth getting into and you can for sure find some case study that you're interested in, and in which blockchain can be applied to. Since February 2016 things have seriously taken off and you can see the market cap going from about 10-20 billion to over 150, so you get an idea of what growth we're talking about. There are alot of activities you can get involved in, helping projects, trading, moderating communities - that all depends on how much time you have and to what degree you want to commit. Buy and hold is still as important as it was back in the days when you used to mine, so that'd be my suggestion to you as well

I think blockchain is something we'll use everywhere in the future.

Even if lately there is lot of uncertainty around crypto (china, ICO, etc..), there is no doubt about the fact that every company in the world start to be interested by the blockchain.
And crypto will still know a lot of up and down but in long term, it will be bullish for sure.

So my advice, yes it's still the right time to get back on the crypto train.

Now! Get back in track...what happened in the past should have served as learning so as not to repeat tje same mistake. Don’t be so easily discouraged. Mistakes, negligence, wrong decisions...these are all part of learning and becoming better. No need to be skeptical about getting back into crypto.. The opportunity to earn today may actually be better than 6 years ago... Wink

That's great advice- well put

It is always better than yesterday! I hope you understand me.
Blockchain technology is the future and it will soon be used in all segments of our life.
We will probably have the chance to see more coins  that will not be worth anything, but technology itself will soon conquer the world.

There is no good or bad time to enter crypto (re-enter in your case). You should always be a part of this game!  Good or bad investment decision is something else though..
As for the wallet that you mentioned, you might want to check this analysis: https://www.tokens24.com/wiki/cryptocurrency-hardware-wallets/
Good luck!

If this is not the time to get involved with crypto, I do not know when it should be. Yes, there is a certain amount of people that were smart and/or lucky enough to get involved in the rightest of times, but we are still not nowhere near late to the party. We just need to enjoy its perks and help crypto shape the future - even though there are many ignorant people around us you can always feel that changing bit by bit. The future is bright fellas, and I am sure glad that I am part of this world and witness all of this amazing stuff happening. Cheers and HODL

In my opinion, time is good, but you must also be able to use it. Focus on one activity and do not drag your actions to great proportions. You will definitely succeed if you are patient and persistent.

Of course but you're a bit late to decide to be honest.
