Before my mother passed away from breast cancer, she had a say in planning her funeral. She told my big sister to have everyone wear pink and/or Hawaiian attire, hand out lime popsicles, and to end the service with the song "Shout" by The Isley Brothers and tell everyone to get up and dance! Just a few of her favorite things. There were hundreds of people, standing room only. While it was a very sad day for many, it was certainly a celebration of her life more than anything.
