Bitcoin has really taking the world by storm. Every country now is taking notice of bitcoin and has making steps to regulate it and each one of them has its own "framework" on dealing with it. However,

Quote
According to Shanmugaratnam, there are about 20 Bitcoin retailers and a small number of people in the financial sector in Singapore.
What do they mean 20 Bitcoin retailers? Does it mean that there are stores that are accepting bitcoin as mode of payment in Singapore? I mean with the size of the population of Singapore, its really nice to see that they are indeed accepting it. Let's just wait how the Government of Singapore will implement those regulations and see how the Singaporean bitcoin community will react.

Singapore is seen as an investor friendly and technology friendly country. They have low taxes and a stable legal environment. They could turn into the Bitcoin capital of the world.
