I am crazy, but I transferred in 2k to test Dwolla.  It worked Smiley

I assume you had the funds in Dwolla already so how long did it take to show up in the Gox acct?

It took about 10 minutes

I just transferred $30 in from Dwolla, and it only took a few minutes to show up in my account history at Mt. Gox...

Don't look now, but there's blood (and sharks) in the water at Tradehill right now.

When I woke up this morning, it was holding quite steady at 17.20.

When Mt. Gox opened, it fell to around 16.90, then 16.70.

Just now -- when the first BTC from Mt. Gox are hitting peoples' wallets -- it fell to 16.10.

It begins.

I would like to ask everyone - especially those in the SEPA zone who are getting screwed by them anyhow - to think twice about using Tradehill.

Their active pro-forum-clogging/spamming referral system is despicable, and simply banning one or two users here and there is not enough. They need to distance themselves from this crap and simply say: We're now 10% cheaper. Period.
Be competitive by service and quality, not by spam-avalanches and pestering people.

Also, wtf. Europeans get pretty much FREE WITHDRAWALS that arrive within 48 hours from MtGox(my experience), whereas there is nothing Tradehill supplies for EUR users at the moment that doesn't cost you more than the value you are trying to get out half the time..

For a wire withdrawal from tradehil "It's $45USD your bank may also add a fee" => my bank would add another 15 EUR on top, so around 65$ cost to withdraw anything from Tradehill vs $0 cost after the 2%ish/35 cent processing fee for MtGox.

In other news, I tried logging in 30 minutes ago. The page has been loading ever since. It blanked out briefly now, and I am waiting to see my account page still. Maybe in another 30 minutes?

Ho-Hum.

How is this any different from the last week on TH?  Most days swing 2 dollars at minimum.

Think of all the people who can now get their money out of Mt. Gox!

They're being frustrated with "But you can't trade here!"

To which they respond,

"Two words. TRADE HILL" (or, BITCOIN 7)

so I think the market will let off some steam today -- it won't be the explosion it would have been, had Mt. Gox opened 1 hour later like they said.

Mt. Gox must have a deathwish. Allow people to take out cash/BTC, then let everyone go to other exchanges to do business?

They better have a SERIOUS PROBLEM that caused them to delay trading for a WHOLE BLASTED DAY.

Because they're going to go out of business because of it.
