Ebtc, Eltc, Edash, Eripple, Ebcash....You ready for the E cryptos??

Its now a trend, ironically Ebtc started it all and now everyone is following. What do you think of this? Such an uneceessary thing to do, but can anyone say no to free money? No Im not promoting these coins they can all be scams for all I know...but if you do want some, the airdrop's are free in the Announcement sections.

I said yesterday on one of the eLTC forums that is the dawn of a new type of crypto currency. And it will be. eBTC started it. There are now 2 eLTC tokens offering airdrops! And now I have just heard about eDash. Expect eNeo, eNEM, eRipple to follow in the next 4 weeks
 Die hards fans of the originals of these coins will hate them. Die hard fans of eBTC will hate these others and dismiss them as copycats. I don't think the eCurrencies will ever overtake the originals or take away volume from them. Expect short term hype. Right now eCurrencies are the hot new fad but interest in them will die off. Also expect eBitcoinCash and eBitcoinGold!

Most of these airdrop altcoins, if the airdrop is done just by filling the form, usually don't last very long. People are not involved much, community is not created and everybody just dumps it as soon as it hits exchanges.

I agree with the both of you. I mean look at what happened with EBTC the price went from .02 to .75 cents and dropped half way over night because of all these other E coins being created. Smart move if you sold last night.

All right, this is completely new to me. What exactly are these e-cryptos? The e shouldn't stand for electronic, since that would be pretty redundant for crypto. I've actually signed up for a couple of airdrops this week but so far wasn't particularly interested in all of these now that they are cropping up. I'd say they were just the same group of people pumping out tokens for every single coin in existence. Go ahead and prove me wrong, though. Would love for my two airdrops to amount to something:)

It really shows that pure speculation still forms a large part of the cryptocurrency market at the moment. Is this good for long term growth, probably not. Eventually, investment will come to value path.

Surely they will not sustain in the market for long time because of their airdrops. The airdrops are very vulnerable to situation like price dumping when these coins are listed in the exchanger. There are very less chances of all these coins getting a good response when they come to market because it's such waste of distributing your money from the real coins to these all new fake-o-lists bug list. I mean why would I have take out my money from the ethereum or may be from bitcoin to invest into them if I don't have enough fiat. Would anyone do that ? No I don't think so they will get any good response.

It's just a bit sad, especially since they are all promoted on bitcointalk.
Like how can they make an eNeo when they can't add the NEO value to it? eNeo has no use, just like all the other E coins.
People don't care, the owners just hope to get a quit profit by keeping 5%. They don't care it it will be dumped since making one costs only a few k at max and dumping 5% would easily cover this up.

The rate of e-coins showing up within seconds is alarming, someone need to put a stop to this scam, because it certain some people will still put there money in this,
 If anyone was to survive out of this coin, it certainly will be ebtc

Haven't joined any airdrops except byteball till now and I don't think holding any of this coin is worthy. They might get dumped on first day of listing on the other hand byteball like coin which offers something different while distributing coin for free can be worth to hold for future.

Trends like these have always occured here. Just look back at the wave of country coins, anonymous coins, pot coins and so on. One succesfull project launches a whole lot of copycats. In a few days/weeks this will be forgotten. And it will be interesting to see if some of the coins, specially eBTC, can survive and gain value long term. I think that is quite likely.
