I think it hasn't happened yet, if it is applied to taxes it is already natural that we are subject to tax in transactions wherever we live, surely all regions / countries impose taxes.

Yes, unfortunately in many countries people pay taxes for bitcoins. But in most of the countries law is not written for crypto and it just need to be paid cause bitcoin and whole crypto could be connected to earnings and we need to pay tax from it. |

It's very, very hard to force someone to pay a tax for Bitcoin when it's hard to determine if the person is even using it or not. I don't think there has been any situation of such sort.

Tax payment shouldn't be forced especially in the countries that tax on fiat. I think if the laws are clear about it and there is supremacy of law, people earning in bitcoin will also conform if it is taxable too. This is a big minus cryptocurrency. We can't spend on purchases without exchanging for Fiat.
For direction purposes: Obviously, bitcoin is digital, this is because bitcoin is not meant to be physically carried about. It is meant for the digital space to take care of such needs. And if need be that it will be used in physical world, it is plausible that it is converted. So I don't see that as a disadvantage or minus when it is playing a role not originally meant for it  The anonymity of bitcoin is a myth too.
Lol.. Is never a myth buddy. You want to know? You make the mistake of sending your coins to a mistaken wallet and see if you don't need a magic to get the coin back but it is one of the easiest jobs to do with bank & fiat. Just sending of message/email to the recipient or barring him from withdrawing it and where it has already been withdrawn, the account can be placed on barred and any credit sent to it is immediately withdrawn by the bank- that does it. A worse case too, the bank officials can trace the recipient physically with the address filled or guarantors address. We off course know cryptocurrency is never retractable. Meaning, you can identify the wallet but can't retrieve by yourself or third party without the will of the recipient. Therefore, in all its sense, it is anonymous. |

If you use bitcoin as a tool for investing, then the payment of taxes is completely justified. But bitcoin is not regulated yet. And to track all the owner is very difficult. Therefore, there will be no taxes in the near future.

I have not yet come across news on forcing citizens or bitcoin earners to pay tax on their earnings. But citizens are bound to pay tax to their earnings as per their laws. The tax percentage differs according to their earnings. There are citizens who mostly try out for tax exempt. And i dont appreciate citizens are forced to pay taxes either on fiat earnings or Bitcoin earnings.

Well, payment of tax from one earning in crypto currency should be a voluntarily and not by force, but who ever go contrarily against the law of his or her country will definitely face the full rout of the law no doubt am sure is happening in some part of the world.
But if in your country it is required then you are just forced to pay for it, since you don't have any choice but to pay for your tax with your income and that includes income cryptocurrency, if in our country they will require too then I will just have to follow rules rather than putting my name in danger. what if we don't pay for it because in bitcoin everything will be invisible, after all the government doesn't know if I'm a bitcoin user from their country lol. for now I have never seen anyone pay taxes because of using bitcoin, and have never seen people forced to pay |

I think that tax is not a compulsion because the tax is the duty of all of us as citizens, something we have to do and we have to pay, wherever you live, the tax will still apply, if yes bitcoin has already been taxed it means there has been a response from the government about bitcoin.

That is true but we could understand this question in different way, in some countries there are tax from income and it doesn't matter how you got this money you must pay some money from it even if you get something from crypto. |

I don't think this will happen, but it depends on the person responding to it with a cool head and feeling that paying the tax is obligatory as a good citizen, or with a hot head and claiming that it is considered coercive. we remember that the tax was imposed and required for the development of the country, so it is natural that we pay taxes.

That not happen yet and i don't think will be applied soon because bitcoin and other altscoin depend on security plus anonymous payment within the blochchain but if you plan to use regulated exchange like poloniex and other sites registered under USA\EU rules perhaps some day might request TAX. As I know from news there were such cases already. I remember a story of a businessman who wanted to cover his income in crypto to not pay too much taxes, but the police ancovered it and pushed him to pay. Unfortunately I do not have any links to the story and I do not even know what was the end, but I saw it on our local news. |

Well, Before 2017, bitcoin only had taxes on the exchange but there was no additional tax to hold bitcoin because it was not considered a property.
But after the success of bitcoin in 2017, the IRS has declared it as property. So now, because bitcoin is calculated as property, then, for all exchanges, mining, spending, trading or other activities will be taxed.

It may depends on the exchange or jurisdiction of the country. but if the marketplace is decentralize it won't happen because bitcoin and altcoins are consider as Anon coin which are privacy! i hope the government will change their plan in the future. hope they can create coin that will help bitcoin to sustain its volatility all taxes are a bill that must be paid by a bitcoin user who is forced because tax is one of the safeguards made by a country that does legalize bitcoin is not a problem because the country dares to be responsible for what will happen to its users. |

So far there is no publication concerning to it, only they put tax on the item you buy with Bitcoin in some country but I never heard a country forcing its citizen to pay tax for their earning in Bitcoin or crypto.

Where is your source on that? I'd really like to know. I think the IRS and the US government is general has been treating bitcoin as what is most convenient for their case at the time. We can really nail them on that on the future. And along the lines of, you, the government has messed up, we can use the leverage to get more reasonable regulations. It really won't do any good to strangle bitcoin in a country anyway, because that country may be left behind. |
