It would be fair if the Dev only uses his premine for bounties and development costs. As long as he doesn't stake his coins, and doesn't dump them on exchanges once it hits, then it should be good. It's difficult to guage the Dev's reputation since he doesn't have a high enough reputation but not a complete newbie as well to signal a complete scam.

So to Dev,

Please ascertain the community that you are not staking your coins and you have no intention to dump your premine.

The premine looks a lot, but it's actually 0.04% of the max total supply, which is lower than most. I've seen decent projects with as high as 10% premine!

The possible problem here is the low reward. All the coins from the PoW phase will be lower than the premine! Dev has complete control on what happens with this coin. If he can at least show that he will not abuse the premine, this can be a decent project.

Don't worry about staking the coins in your own wallet, pool them coinsmarkets.com/?ref=86621 because you will get stakes quicker, and you don't need to worry about coin maturity or if your wallet is staking or not.  I already received a few stakes and I withdraw my stakes pretty frequently.

I think the pool I linked is one of the largest pools for VULTR coin.
