So you are selling the pre-order queue spot or the actually pre-order? Meaning, are they paid for?
There is a little confusion with this. A couple months ago you could sign up for the pre-order and once you did you received an order number of sorts. This number didn't mean anything, just that you would be eligable for buying one of the first (1-500) batch units. Yesterday, KnCMiner opened up the "real" pre-orders and for each pre-order you have seven days to pay so that you keep your "place" in the queue. My two orders are real pre-orders which I will sell to whomever wants them. Both have not been paid for yet, but will need to be paid for or else the place in the queue will be lost.
I've been in contact with KnCMiner and have confirmed my "place" in the queue and that the transfer of my pre-orders can take place separately. This will allow you to receive one of the first 500 Jupiter units made.
If you need more confirmation please send me a pm and I will cc you on an email to KnCMiner.
Here is a quote I just found from KnCMiner on these forums:
Your place is only worth something if you have already paid.
The order you'll get your unit is determined by when you send them money - so... if you have not paid, then a number from a contact form doesn't have much value.
Hi, Actually this is NOT true
We will open up the order books soon and give everyone a chance to pay for their preorder (7 days), We will then ship them based on the preorder registration number, not when the order was paid for
as long as the order is paid for within the 7 days we will honor the queue placement. if you pay on day 8 you will simply enter the queue from the back
I hope this helps
if you do sell your order number all I will need is an email from both parties and I will do the rest, they will get your queue placement. it can’t however be for more than your registered amount of boxes and we will not split preorders into multiplies
