Cool. I like what you wrote.

Regarding Monero, POS literally means "piece of shit". (seriously). This coin is overpriced by a x10 margin.
I am not a fan-boy of the Verge-army, but man... Monero is NOT obfuscating IPs and is $1.3B in value! I believe it has the BTC syndrome: it's not a good coin per se, but acts as a standard from its historical existence. I don't see it sustain it's valuation, as people will put their money on the new guns in the anon-sector.
That said, I do believe that KORE has a big role to play in the future. The Marketcap is also way too low for the project, which makes it a potential x10 coin. ZEN also has something (team, product "platform like"). Other coins are sub-par.

ICOs are dangerous, I do agree. But as RISK/REWARD genreally go together, they have the most potential.
JET is not an ICO per-se but also has a risk factor. They are currently swapping + rebranding, and are on coinexchange (shit platform, shady...). Nevertheless, a $450k marketcap with a working product is not standard.

Regarding EOS, TEZOS, and so on: these are the coins I put as "overpriced", hence NOT on the short list, for the exact same reasons you mentioned.
Regarding ADA: you know my position. It's funny people fell for that... and scary.

For Anons, I think that the recent rise of GRS, VRT is linked to 2 factors:
1- people go so much destroyed on alts since August that the market is looking for new champions (The NEO-effect: we want the next x100).
As a result, when the CalmBitchReport mentions ZEN, it immediatley takes x2
2- ASIC vs. non-ASIC discussions: people want to believe is a more decentralized non-asic mining, still considering BTG as shit (it is)... does not make sense.

My take is that, the market is irrational atm and acts too much with emotions. These coins are the winners.

VIA is different. It's a solid project and their Wrath protocol (Which is just a switch btw) has something interesting. They are building a product for the masses.

SHIFT: I agree with your analysis: team could be better. They need to recruit but are sort-of fucked by a lack of money. It could be a vicious circle. But something there...

Note: I don't have money in most of the coins mentioned above. I have a bit in JET ant TRST, some in VEN and ETP and the huge majority in BTC until the fork. I am therefore not shilling the coins I own.

interesting!

bitcoin, litecoin, now vertcoin, then monacoin, then groestlcoin ... I have the impression, just my impression and I repeat it one last time, that the old altcoins, solid, no ICO, no premine, POW, decentralized, with active development = segwit and lightening in alpha are digging their hole successively in the top 50, top 30. I think they are similar assets, which will also have the ability to do atomics swap. In short, they constitute a group, those of decentralized, solid and pseudonymous currencies. In this similar category, there remains only Viacoin known and solid hence my deduction that it could be the next. But there is a fundamental movement on this type of altcoin and I think it's not just a temporary trip like the masternodes .. last thing, as I said in different articles, I think democratization crypto currencies will firstly be used for money and not for ICOs. In these currencies, there are the pseudonymous coins (bitecoin, litecoin, vertcoin, monacoin, groestlcoin, viacoin), and the anonymous coins in which I also believe a lot. It's just my point of view

Interesting. I'll dig more into these coins.
I am naturally not a fan of anon coins. For me the market is too small and they have this shady image that prevents mass adoption for the average joe.
That said, I get what you say: by being more democratized, they could become the norm, and anon would be another advantage of using cryptos.
I like VIA. U used to have bags of VIAcoins...  Maybe I should come back to it..

After the fork...

Opus is one project that might not have made big in their ICO but still a very good one and is facing a bright future. It is a project focusing on the music industry. It has already added several artists to its platform. They are moving good even if they did not begin with a very big amount of contribution. They also burned all their unsold tokens. This may be a small project but it has a big potential.

Komodo has a high potential for this growth in the future
I know all altcoins are bleeding bad, but I invested in Komodo some weeks back and Komodo's bleeding was just out of this world Grin … I am even happy I sold it faster, I would have even lost more than the 70% loss I had.

May be later, I may have to invest back when the time is right and when the cloud is clear, but I was not expecting that pretty huge dump on the coin as my expectations were quite high. But I guess, BTC caused the whole shit and I should have known better not holding any altcoin at the moment.

I love investing in small market cap projects (5-15 million) and have made a ton doing so already by guessing correctly. I put 20 ETH into DNT during their ICO and sold it on the way up at 17x (it maxed at 25x) for close to 331 ETH. I sold my QRL for 15x the ICO price right after it hit exchanges. And now I'm up 5x on Chainlink already...still holding it though.

My question is - what are the next projects with the potential for this kind of growth? I ONLY want to hear about very small cap but otherwise solid projects. I don't care if an ICO is inventing the next wheel - if they're asking for 150 million I don't care to invest in it.
You can look at NVO, it is not an ico, but you can buy the tokens for cheaper than the ico price and the devs are about to release the wallet this week so a pump in the price may be coming soon, and the market cap is 10 millions so I think that is a solid project in which you can invest.

Forget about 99,9% ERC20 tokens that were generated by ICO!
Sometimes is not even the devs and project fault, these crypto investors are always annoying the team and pressuring for results 24h of the day! If a release is procrastinated from one day to another it is reason for dumping -50%!
Now I ask you, how can a project survive since its success is being measured only by their marketcap value?

unfortunately you still cannot get exscudo anywhere. their ICO was in summer I think, and they are still working on their own blockchain.
and their raised funds have nothing common with market cap, remember how much Polybius raised and where they were right after the ICO.

Market cap is not everything but it is a very important factor when we are determining if a project has captured the imagination and interest of the community and when no one is investing in a project then that tell to us the project most of the time is not worth your investment.

Low market cap coins that can do 2x overnight

SpectreCoin (XSPEC) - almost a year project with unique anonymous tech based on TOR

Bear in mind that as it is a PoSv3 coin, you can stake rewards using your client by supporting the network.
Next main feature will be STAKING low-power wallet on Android platform
Basically you will be able to gain money simply by using your phone and keeping it online 24/7

AND ALWAYS DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST

Agreed. XSPEC is probably the most undervalued project in the space right now. 100x returns is definitely a realistic prospect for this project especially if you compare its market cap against other privacy coins.

The beginning of a new era.

When its value was still $0.04, it should be a good investment but now, it would just appear there would be a lot of sellers going to cash out from every investors that gets in.

You can't just take the advice without precautions because certainly most of these individuals has their own motives.

Thats true, but can't you say it about any other "50-100x" or succesful project? Smiley
