A few ideas:

1) Use your string of words if you have that
2) do you have wallet backups?  You can restore from there
3) Do you still have access to your email?  Go to: https://blockchain.info/wallet/login click on recover wallet in the bottom right (under the Heading "Lost Password").  Enter your email address (or mnemonic phrase if you have it)

At least you can try to send a PM to piuk (which is the admin of blockchain.info): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=17928
Probably he can't help you too much, but you can always try.

This looks like the best option right now. See this thread too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117133.0

There, piuk states:

Quote from: piuk
We can lookup a wallet by:

- ip address
- email
- skype username
- yubikey
- Password (by testing it against all wallets)

If you have any of these then i'm sure it can be found, knowing the approximate time and date the wallet was created also helps.

You have the password at least! I think your wallet should still be recoverable. Cheesy

I was a dum-dum and forgot to record my  deleted to get access to my recently created BlockChain account.

I transferred a substantial amount of bitcoins to the account, so that's why I'm desperate. I tried contacting support but haven't received a reply. I have the password,  , but that's it; no identifier, email,

Does anyone know anything I can do?  thanks. also 1000 dollars  i will give in bitcoin  when fixed

I may be misunderstanding the situation here but it sounds like you did provide an email address when you opened up your account. That email address was a throwaway address though and you forgot what it was? I'm assuming that you did at least view the welcome email from blockchain.info once.

Which browser do you use? It occurred to me that the identifier may still be present in your browser's cache files. I just did a test here myself and I was able to recover my identifier from Firefox's cache (via the new account email message). I'm also assuming you're on Windows. Here's what I did:

Download AstroGrep from here: http://astrogrep.sourceforge.net/download/

Start up AstroGrep and under "Search Path" click the folder and navigate to the place that your browser stores its temporary files. This will be "C:\Users\{Yourname}\AppData" for Firefox on Windows. I assume it's probably the same for most other browsers as well.

Under "File Types" simply put an asterisk (*). For "Search Text" paste in the following string without the quotes: "https://blockchain.info/wallet/[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*"

Now under "Search Options" check the "Regular Expressions" box. Press the "Search" button and cross your fingers! Cheesy

If AstroGrep finds the string in a file, it'll list the file on the right-hand pane. If you click on the filename, the string that AstroGrep located should be displayed and highlighted in the bottom right-hand pane. Hopefully this will be the URL that contains your account identifier.

The form of the URL is as follows: https://blockchain.info/wallet/{YourIdentifier!}

Retrieve your identifier from the URL and try it out (or simply copy/paste the link).

Edit: Here's another string to try, remove the quotes: "[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*-[a-z0-9]*.blockchain.info"

If you get any hits on this one,the part after "infoSID" is where the identifier starts. You may end up with multiple prospective identifiers. One of them will be the right one.

If you have your basic info we can get you your identifier.
You can either email blockchain directly or I can handle your case for you.

Hopefully you've gotten your problem taken care of by now though.

Thanks,

Blockchain employee

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO THIS INDIVIDUAL UNLESS/UNTIL YOU FIRST CONFIRM WITH blockchain.info DIRECTLY THAT THIS PERSON ACTUALLY REPRESENTS THEM.  THIS COULD BE A SCAMMER ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT INFO TO STEAL FROM YOU!
