So it seems that the won't allow market order to be placed ahead of market opening.  This means that every trader has to sit in front of their computer refreshing until markets open so that they don't miss the opening.

Why oh why, can't they just allow orders to be placed before market opening?  And have a defined market opening time that allows some time to get orders in?

weren't they supposed to open trading 1h after opening the site?

they could at least post one-line status messages on the support website or on twitter so we know what's happening...

They could at least do that, but they seem to really like dropping the ball.

I'm still going to trade at mt gox, and I've even deposited, but they are really bad at communication. I think they did a good job fixing everything, but really bad at talking about it.

Yah, I've got 3 tabs open with my buy orders and am repeatedly hitting the "Buy Bitcoins" button...  Grin

If all the sovereign non-cryptocurrencies will eventually collapse from hyperinflation, you can't afford *not* to invest in Bitcoin...  See my blog at http://minetopics.blogspot.com/ .

They were talking about 24h delay on IRC.

Can anyone verify this.

And be careful with your tradehill spam, they will disable your referral code if enough people complain.

probably because they don't have an auction system that usually determines the opening price at a real exchange.

Code:
