Switzerland is my favorite country in so many ways and of course this is very much expected from that country. Other countries will be following one by one.

Switzerland been quite active in inheriting Bitcoin and Blockchain tech in their system. Swiss banks were the first to launch Bitcoin asset management service and now Chiasso in Switzerland became the first municipal corporation to accept tax payments in bitcoin.

The Mayor of Chiasso, Bruno Arrigoni, said
Quote
"town is recognised internationally as an epicentre of a growing technological and economic growth for both the canton and in Switzerland."

I think, soon, the whole country will start accepting Bitcoin at government level having Chiasso, a tech hub of Switzerland as an example and that would be a huge step forward for Bitcoin community.

Switzerland certainly has some interesting moves regarding cryptocurrency but it is far from being transformed in bitcoin country. One small town which accept tax to be pay in BTC is a very interesting thing,it would be nice to see others to follow.

It is interesting that for a while buying BTC in Switzerland is very easy using ticket vending machine on railway station, you just need cash/debit card and mobile number which I think must be from swiss mobile. There is also option to buy/sell BTC through ATM using two companies Bity SA and Bitcoin Suisse AG which also offer to buy/sell BTC using their web pages.

I believe that the use of BTC will become even more widespread in future, they are definitely on the right track to become country in which BTC can be used in everyday life.

Please stop promoting your own website in this forum.I understand it's nice way to promote but still STOP IT.You can't advertise like that and to your question i only know of Japan and now Switzerland that have adopted bitcoin this good.

There is no doubt that you are promoting two things here. First Bitcoin In Switzerland and second your own website named as https://zycrypto.com/, but I can't find any wrong stuff in doing that, because at the end you are promoting Bitcoin and this is the best place to do that. Also Switzerland is setting an example for other nations it is giving people all the benefits that a Bitcoin lover can think Bitcoin ATM, Tuition fees being accepted, a better tax system and much more are being introduced. Also it’s not the only country where tax is imposed on Bitcoin, Japan, Germany, Australia, UK, United States and The European Union.

This is a really great news for bitcoin. This can further entice people to get interested with bitcoin and eventually use it. And once that happens the demand for bitcoin will surely increase and the price of bitcoin will be increasing correspondently.

I think Japan is far more than Switzerland because they really are into bitcoin and it is really legalized on their country. South Korea does the same too, and if it's that so about Switzerland then it is a good signal that many countries are adopting bitcoin, hope that the word will spread worldwide so that other countries might adopt and embrace bitcoin as a legalized currency.

Japan is different because they have adopted bitcoin and even legalized it. However, Switzerland has also been embracing bitcoin but I think there is no official word from the government yet. However, it is still good news to see them accepting bitcoin with open arms and there was even a news that a school is accepting bitcoin as tuition fee payment. They will be one of the leaders in the world in terms of bitcoin acceptance.

Well its not bad to promote his own site though since you do have the free decision if you would able to click that link or not as long he discuss about this bitcoin country thing. Besides Switzerland I do believe that Japan is the first. If this country turns out to adopt bitcoin then its good and we can say adoption is gradually increasing but not totally a bitcoin country knowing that they do have still their local fiat currency.

I expected a bit more from Switzerland, since they were one of the first countries to accept Bitcoin. They should have been

far ahead by now, but they gaining momentum at a very low pace. Even Japan is growing faster than them now. The US seem

to have some sort of influence on their decision making regarding things connected to security matters. As we saw with the

Protonmail issues.  Huh

I don't think Japan is growing faster than Switzerland. I'm not sure if you can pay taxes or not in Japan using bitcoin. I think so, since they consider them as legal tender, so it would be strange if they didn't, but accepting University tuition payments in the form of Bitcoin is a big deal to me. So I really don't think Switzerland is moving slower than Japan. They are both doing an amazing job in my opinion, and others should follow. Actually they already put everything in place to make the growth if bitcoin possible. Now we need more merchants and consumers using bitcoin. We can't neglect that the bitcoin network needs to evolve as well, in order to get more attractive for daily use, and not just long term investment or trade. Once fees get lower and transactions get faster, we will see more and more adoption in these two countries.

As more countries ban Bitcoin because they are scared that people use it instead of their national currencies (in a free choice) the countries that give you this freedom of choice like Switzerland, will thrive and will become bitcoin friendly countries with all the powerful whales living there. In Switzerland, there are more and more ATM machines everywhere. You can buy BTC pretty much anywhere in the country now. All the train stations have Bitcoin ATMs.
This is a reality that Switzerland is now turning into Bitcoins and gradually through out the world it will be introduce as official currency in every country and then the world will be know as Bitcoin world.

Wow that sounds more good yes I think this will happened because Switzerland is that type of country in which bitcoin will easily get his position and we know all democratic countries will accept democratic currency and products also and like Switzerland which is friendly to all world I think this will be really good for bitcoin growth.

I think after happening this bitcoin head will need to make a party because they have selected that type of country where bitcoin will be allowed very soon and people will live it because Switzerland is like normal and friendly nature country and there no one will point bitcoin for negative things I think this is amazing for bitcoins users.

For switzerland to accept bitcoin to be used for paying tax it means the country is innovative oriented. The country is technologically advance and the country will reach a great high financially and will be ahead of other countries in the nearest future that are busy banning bitcoin. If we all follow up on some great technological concepts that are coming up we will realize that with bitcoin life will be make simple to humanity.

Switzerland is also the country with the highest growth rate, not because of bitcoin, but because the government are reasonable! they are not stupid like the rest of the worlds govs.

Based on my readings online, I think many other countries, apart from Switzerland and United States are turning into bitcoin, our other cryptocurrencies for that matter. Upon reading here and there, I found that China, Japan, and other Asian countries too are exploring; however, since many of these countries are still on start up, the alt currencies they have are not as powerful as bitcoin.

I've been reading from some US gurus that the real target of Bitcoin and the likes is the 10 trillion dollars deposited in the Cayman Island, BVI and the likes. Switzerland has very efficient and advanced financial service: they have seen bitcoin potential well in advance
