what skill set are needed to become Blockchain Consultant ? (Non Developer)

Hi,

I have more than 17 yrs of experience in networking and infrastructure management. Now, i am planning to get my career changed into Blockchain technology and get transformed to a consultant eventually. Absolute no experience in Coding, however little theoretical knowledge on technology.  Can someone give me a plan or a strategy on how can I get transformed to Blockchain Consultant ? like understanding architecture, platform, uses cases, customer awareness, demos (if any), leading Blockchain project implementations or development...

Good question.

I'd start with the basic education and then get as deep as possible in technical specifics.

Education:

• Learn everything there is to know about Blockchain technology
• Understand how different types of companies use the blockchain for different uses
• Understand how companies could use your help, i.e., what part of the strategy, design, proof of concept, testing,
   and implementation/deployment do companies usually struggle with?
• Read up on the industry trends and news, you'll need to the latest goings on

Technical:

• How are business requirements turned into developed code
• How is a blockchain built, accessed, operated, deployed, etc.

Get experience any way you can to build the technical skills. Be an intern, work for a blockhain company, find educational courses.
