The instructions state to go to bitmain pool and point the router to stratum-ltc.antpool.com:8888.

Is this the correct pool to be included in the lottery? I thought that you had to solo mine to for the chance to hit a block. I am confused about the antrouter setup.
Thanks.

Hi,

As far as i can gather, when the original purchaser registers the unit, they get an ID based partly on a chosen username and partly on the serial number of the antminer. They then use this ID to mine with. If you find a block (the chances are incredibly low, about 100mil to 1 i think), then they using unique id, and send the original purchaser an email to validate, and then to claim the block.

I could be way off, but i think thats roughly it.

If you ever want to sell it, i might be interested.

Thanks @minerja

It looks like bitmain support got back to me! Thats almost hitting the lottery itself! lol

So you do have to change your worker setting for solo payout.

Here is what they said:
Yes, please choose solo in the Settings and you will have the chance to get the lottery.
But if you choose pps, you will get a steady income.
Please let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.

Best regards,
Joy

so it can be set up for PPS! But can you set it up for another pool fx nanopool, or your own miningpool?
And an example of how its done?
