i would've been tempted to leave some btc on bittrex to catch this just in case they list it for another super pump, but considering the amount of their users having problems i'll play it safe.

The bitcoin gold's site has not been updated for a while and the teams has not make any serious publication and I think is not going to be as strong as bch. My speculation about it is that it will be below hundred dollars ($100) on the days of splitting and from there the price will drop drastically. The hardfork is not going to make serious impact like the one that happens August this year.

Depends on the team who are making it as well as the plans for its future. Bitcoin cash became a pump dump coin as soon as it hit the exchanges. I just hope Bitcoin gold will have some realistic plan with it.

Actually not much is known about bitcoin gold yet. The developers haven't stated anything much about  bitcoin gold. We just know that there is going to be a different proof-of-work algorithm. This fork will allow individuals to mine using GPU while in bitcoin ASIC mining hardware caused general users to get out of the mining scene.

The price is going to drop almost out the gate, due to people worried they will get caught holding as it goes down. Then people will buy it back to some extent creating a rally and then boom back down in the first week. Would not get to caught up in it skyrocketing and dump it very quickly as we suffer from a herd mentality and you can feel people just chomping on the bit to dump for easy gain.

People are selling everything they have to get BTC so they get an equivalent amount of BTC Gold.  There is so much downward pressure that something will have to give when the fork happens.  I think people will try and sell the BTCGold driving the price down.  People will want to get back into the alts they sold to get the gold.

Futures are trading at around $300 USD,so it might be worth hodling your BTC in a wallet on the 25th.Hopefully it stays around that range and it's an easy $150 for me. Worst case it's some PoS like $20 and I break even in transaction fees.

no one knows. but for sure price first will rise than everybody will think thats enough to me and will sell and get their profit .question start after one week, how many people will mine btc gold ? its big difference between bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold that people can mine with GPUs. just think that you have 5 asic would you mine bitcoin or bitcoin cash ? the answer is so clear , isn't it ? now think that you have some rigs that you are already mining some other coins  , you might think to mine btc gold at least with one rig just to try. i gues after one or two week we will see the future of btc gold. as they say in their website ;

The price of bitcoingold will probably be less than three houndred dollars after the fork is released, but i dont think that it will go to $700 or maybe $500 just like the other guys said, but who knows, i dont know what can i expect from it because the same happened with bitcoincash, i thought it was going to be $1500 and it was $400 once that it got released.
But we will have to wait until it gets done, i dont know, i will hold them anyway and then dump them.

Nothing to worry guys as this is just a free coin, right? So whatever its price it doesn't matter but of course it matters when you buy some at least amount. Perhaps, I'm holding my bitcoin now in a wallet that supports bitcoin gold so I can have the equivalent of it when the hard fork happens. After all the best things in life are free.

It can rise with the hype in first days after the fork, but high prices won't last for long. I believe it can rise till 500-700$ but then drop to ~200$
