Alright completely new to mining and my GPU is more than likely under powered to do anything (nvidia 1060 I believe) but seeing how I can't buy this coin (yet) I was wondering if someone could help instruct me on how to get set up. Even if I mined just a few I would be stoked.
Any help (or guide) would be great.

I wouldn't recommend using your gpu as scrypt mining was notorious for burning cards out But this ccminer works with scrypt http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/download/ccminer-1-8-3-git-tpruvot.zipdont bother with a GPU now Scrypt is basically a asic only ALGO better to mine something else with the cards |

@ Mike,
You aren't going to get much with a single nvidia card, but, if you absolutely must have some immediately then get the cuda version of CCMiner (GPU) which has scrypt support and point your mining system at one of the pools, because with the current hashrate and number of miners on the pools you have almost zero chance of finding a block solo mining.

Mastertrader, I don't think you can extrapolate pricing from hash rate but as a measurement a 250mhz scrypt ASiC rig makes between $15 - $25 USD every 24 hrs if you mine the most profitable high volume coins using multiport on a larger pool.

I remember people used to use that as some sort of gauge. Someone broke it down and it seemed to make sense based on Cost to mine. Any other opinions on it...I should remember the break down, but like I said its been a while since I played this mining game...lol |

there is a bug on the wallet , once you encrypt it , you cant add new receive address, asking for the passpharse and it does not accept it , but the same passpharase unlocks the wallet normally

^ I've seen this bug from other coins. Just close your wallet, open it, and while locked create the new receiving address. After creating, unlock your wallet.
