Number 8 under Step one does nothing for me. I am stuck there. I started the CMD with admin rights, I copy and paste the prompt, and it doesn't create a file.

Would you mind sharing your config, removing any personal values. There are many who cannot get the MN running successfully on windows. It usually just turns to active state and shows up in the Xios Network tab, but no rewards are ever received. Your assistance is appreciated!

Hey, you write "white static I.P".

Of course I know the difference between dynamic and static I.P, but what's "white" mean?

Also my I.P is dynamic, does that mean I can't run a masternode from this address?

white means accessible from outer network and is not blacklisted.

ideally for masternodes, you should have a static IP as you will have to update the conf everytime your IP changes.
i'm not sure if we can configure to handle IP change.

Ok, that's easy enough to change the config if it's possible because the I.P only resets when I turn off the modem which is rarely.

But, I can't open ports on this connection ( entering 192.168.1.1 into a browser doesn't work it's controlled by ISP) so can I just find out what range of ports are open on the connection and pick a random port to enter in notepad config?

Thanks for the info btw, I will send you a couple of XIOS from my first reward if I get it up and running tomorrow.

there are services that can scan ports. eg: http://www.ipfingerprints.com/portscan.php
i'm not affiliated to this service, so not vouching for them.

also, it might be better if you go with a VPS setup. much easier to control , and having a cold wallet means that your public facing IP does not have your coins.

I clicked the socks accidentally and now the wallet won't open. It comes up with an error message saying socks no longer supported and this freezes the wallet. Closing the error message shuts down the exe.

Is there a config file somewhere where I can change the value of socks to false?

Turns out I have hundreds of nodes in the blocked nodelist.

I ran clearbanned and now the network signal strength is from 2 bars to 5 bars.

But it is still suck 13 hours behind and not decreasing.

Just got off the horn with C-CEX.

I've had the Exchange operator in my skype for years.

Made him verify he still runs the exchange and Exchange twitter with messages from both the exchange admin and twitter profile.
