I've submitted a ticket at coinexchange.io for the addition of XIOS.
Let's see what they'll decide.
I'll keep you informed.

I have been quoting prices for another project, Coinexchange is about 2 BTC if I remember correctly.
They also have a full ticket, so they told me to ask again in about 21 days or so.

Maybe they have a soft spot for this guy! Who knows!
Ill see if I can dig up that list to help contribute, but that 4 BTC pricetag is obscene

Just got off the horn with C-CEX.

I've had the Exchange operator in my skype for years.

Made him verify he still runs the exchange and Exchange twitter with messages from both the exchange admin and twitter profile.

Good News:

Yes, he will add XIOS.

Heavier News:

Its 4.0 BTC

We need a community fund, if we want to make this happen.

I'll put up .5 BTC to the XIOS Community Growth Fund.

If we want screen shots of the C-CEX Convos/Twitter Test Message.. Let me know.

Cheers,

MasterTrader777

Thank you for this mastertrader777. 4 BTC is a pretty nice chunk of change C-CEX charges yet they don't exceed 300 BTC volume in a day. Would you know off hand what Bittrex is charging these days? It used to be 3 BTC.

I'm at a loss what connection between LitecoinStake (according to blockexplorer) and XIOS (according this announcement).
Dev, please explain.

No connection.

They probably just copied our ANN design

Copied Litecoinstakes ANN design.

Can you help me with my "unsupported argument" socks error?

Tried everything, cant even restore from a backup because the qt won't open.

Man I tried looking into that one, but the cost of it would be outrageous.

Consider that Cryptopia is around 5 BTC.
It would probably be around 30k

CEX.io      Free   https://support.cex.io/hc/en-us/community/posts
BitSquare      Free   https://forum.bisq.io/t/how-to-add-your-favorite-altcoin/46
these two may be a good option - both are free - but bitsquare requires you to have some trading volume and such

Another good option is Yobit - even though it has a less than awesome standard in many traders eyes. I think the paid prices were something like 0, .1, .5 BTC

Do not delete wallet.dat!

I just did that and it is all fine now Smiley

Already tried that, even deleted all xios registry entries, the qt everything but my backups.

Ever since I accidentally ticked the socks box it tries to use socks and I get an unsupported argument error which freezes me out of the wallet.

Hey man, I hear ya!
I am not super pumped about it either. But honestly, anything is better than Coinmarkets. I wont even trust that place to be able to withdraw - their trollbox is filled with people complaining about failures and such. IDK just better to go with the devil you know...

Very nice wallet devs, well done!
Im sure we can pool together a fund to get it on one of the big exchanges, everyone tries to avoid yobit, cryptopia for 5btc is better than Cex @ 4 btc IMO!

Good luck!

i agree that deleting everything in that folder but the wallet.dat should have reset your settings.

maybe you can run xios with this argument:

xios-qt -datadir=<dir>         Specify data directory

and put a copy of your wallet.dat in it.

the only other reason why it wouldn't work is because the actual settings are in wallet.dat

if that was the case....these wallets do automatic backup of the wallet.dat....maybe it has an older backup that was prior to the changes.

i would make sure you backup the whole folders when you start messing around with wallet.dat ...........

It can't be settings within the dat file, because when I delete everything and start a fresh without even a backup in the folders and let the qt write new files, it still has the error. I will have to see if I can restore from a backup on a different PC, but I really need to use it on this one.

I start masternode and displayed "successfully started masternode".
But I get error  "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" at upper arrow icon.
How do I fix this error?

Narrowed it down to a registry problem.

http://forum.bitrad.io/topic/90/problem-with-the-desktop-wallet

It seems like it's a common problem with wallets if you tick the socks box. But the problem is I've already tried to find and delete all registry entries under Xios.

Does anyone know what registry keys etc are from Xios?

*never mind, solved, I found the xios folder in reg edit, now I just have to try and restore my back up and hope my $500 of coins are still there, but the wallet opens now, hopefully if others accidentally tick the socks box doing thhis will get them back in their wallets.

HI!
I have adjusted node and have started it:

Quote
{
    "overall" : "Successfully started 1 masternodes, failed to start 0, total 1",
    "detail" : {
        "status" : {
            "alias" : "mm01",
            "result" : "succesful"
        }
    }
}

In a masternodelist I see the hashID included right after a start.
But approximate in an hour my ID vanishes from the list, without having received a stake.
I have adjusted the external address, I have opened port 9998.

Xios.conf:
Quote
rpcuser=SomeRandomString
rpcpassword=EvenLongerRandomString
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
staking=0
logtimestamps=1

Quote
Macternode.conf:
mm01 _IP:PORT_ _KEY_ _ID Trans_ _INDEX_ _ADDR FOR STAKE_

What do I do not so?

Why wouldn't we try to get xios listed on novaexchange, it is 1 btc to list and more users than yobit and other mentioned exchanges. It is growing community and it wouldn't be a problem to raise 1btc for nova.
