Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I posted on Coinmarketcap's BitcoinTalk Page!

Coinmarketcap.com

Thanks for offering such a great service over the years.

I'm writing this message to inform you guys of XIOS being within the criteria for addition to the site...but over the last few days, the community hasn't heard back any responses from you.

Getting XIOS listed on Coinmarketcap will help options open up for us.

XIOS is currently trading on Yobit, Coinsmarkets, and Crypto Bridge and several others that has our volume over $10k a day.

Can we please look into the numerous requests submitted regarding the addtion of XIOS?

www.XIOSCOIN.com

https://github.com/ButterRose/Xios

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2251159

https://yobit.net/en/trade/XIOS/BTC

https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-XIOS.htm

Thanks for your time and consideration regarding this matter.

Cheers,

I like the idea of this project and the the fact its so new but without stable mn's or staking I don't see it taking off unfortunately. People these days are looking for passive income and staking coins with masternodes and the works allow for that but it does have to work correctly otherwise it turns people off to the coin. When coinsmarkets disable staking of all places then you know you got problems and we cant count on another exchange to add us until that is fixed imo. Speaking of which, any status update on when that will be fixed by chance? Coinsmarkets said they reached out to the dev's and are awaiting a response from them. Overall the coin still has potential imo but definitely needs work for stability long-term.

Who knows? It should be already listed by now. I've known much less popular coins being listed as soon as they met the criteria.

I don't know what to think. Maybe they checked the trade volume when Xios wasn't being traded because of Bitcoin Gold? Maybe they got tired of constant requests and are determined not to add it?

It does seem like CMC are really dragging their feet with Xios.

No one person has enough coins to hand out airdrops. Since it was no premine there's no great stack to hand out.

But a masternode is essentially an airdrop. Staking seems to be paying out pretty well within the past couple of days too, so if you want an airdrop buy some coins and leave them in your wallet, six months from now you'll have a large airdrop of free coins.

I honestly can tell you why we haven't been listed on Coinmarketcap yet....

30 days.

We haven't been around long enough.

Thats the reason for the hold up.

Its part of their criteria =/

Oh, okay, thanks.

That explains it, but I've seen some coins get listed pretty much instantly (eBTC for example), straight after launch.

Do they make exceptions sometimes then?

I'm sure they do.

Not sure if they accept donations for consideration.

Lets just keep on tweeting them and eventually XIOS will be added.

Need more exchanges...Hows Trade Satoshi coming along?

We need how much DOGE to win?

Nothing to do with 30 days. They list also newer coins. It must have stable $10k+ daily volume on exchanges they accept on their list. And by stable means all trough period you apply. Not just small pump and after volume falls to 0.1 BTC = not getting listed.

Eitherway need to reapply there.

I wonder why people are still mining!!! Because https://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-XIOS.htm price is much cheaper. To rent 1 GH/s, you will need approx 0.01 BTC and you will get only 0.75 XIOS in a day with 1 GH/s. But you can buy 285 XIOS with same 0.01 BTC from market!!!

Can you explain how you work out how much you can mine with 1gh/s?  What calculation do you do to figure it out?
