Coinsmarket has since shut down their xios wallet, and I assume if it gets re-opened to the correct chain my balance will be present.

There is a chance that they might re-assign addresses to users upon relaunch. In which case, the coins will be well and truly lost. But that's an unlikely scenario I would say.

This would be a reason for the wallet delay - a "re-sprinkle" or transaction fee adjustment of sorts.
The current wallet is working, with balance and possibly forking vulnerabilities.
I will say it's much tougher to fork a chain with so many masternodes.

Not sure I get why the devs think they need a "new" wallet.
I'll certainly have a closer look when the src is released.

My guess is that by "new wallet" what they really mean is "new seed node" - it's just easier to say "new wallet" to people.

for those who want to store xios coin on a paper wallet. please dont do this. you're an idiot. you might put the wrong xios coin into the wrong fork. if you want to store some xios, go buy at yobit and keep your xios there. you shouldnt keep your xios anywhere because dev are inactive and might be on a vacation somewhere in the bahamas with your bitcoins. my assessment is that this coin is dead already. let's move on people.

I have two separate nodes on the network.
But they keep turning off after a while.

I unlock walet ( staking only off) then start masternode, come back in a while (random time) and they're off.

Driving me nuts, can someone point me in the right direction?

For some reason, if I don't leave my host computer on with my wallet running my MN shuts off, even though my VPS is running. I don't think you can fix it, I think it's a development issue.

Please vote for Xios to be listed on Mercatox Exchange
https://mercatox.com

Vote for free. Enjoy it!

Well done! Let's ask the new exchange for listing Xios. More exchanges more people known Xios.

My host computer is on 24/7 it just seems to drop the Node from the network after a few minutes to a few hours, I think this might be sentinel not working with XIOS source.

If anyone has any info - chime in please.

I gave up on the masternode. Haven't received any rewards for 2 weeks even though the masternode was on 24/7, unlocked and on the list. Now im content with what i get from staking, which seems to be more than masternode rewards i used to get before. At least its more frequent which accumulates and get around 8-12 staking rewards of 0.333 everyday. When i was receiving MN rewards, it was like 3-6 rewards of 0.666 per day but not everyday, sometimes only 1-2 0.666. Until this masternode issue is resolved, i will be staking and getting my rewards that way.

i have the same problem.
I have a master node on a VPS linux....and the cold wallet on my windows.
I start the master node but it goes offline after fews hours....what can i do? I have to reinstall all the masternode on VPS?
There is a script to check the status of masternode? Otherwise some API can i call to check the list of all active masters node?
Thanks

Bitcoin Wallet (https://blockchain.info/address/3JTerQKeHrBAHwpTLNsD7NFXkw7aczGo6V) :

Final Balance: 0.23158238 BTC

Xios Wallet (http://107.170.222.106/address/2Y1dtyhyY8PSimHAGQnKCCb8K6kc8QWKrc) :

Final Balance: 637.74274065 XIOS

Not a bad start everyone!

I am enjoying the MN system. I don't have the largest wallet but it is growing daily. I like the attitudes of the Devs here. The community backing seems solid too. The price will head much higher after the next BTC SegWit.

Until April 1st, 2018, I will pledge 150 XIOS to the community fund if the XIOS price does a full week over $5. I will pledge an additional 300 XIOS to the community fund if the XIOS price does a full week over $10. 6 months should be enough time to see this project create the foundation the Devs are proposing. I also like the marketplace idea another member mentioned.

Best success.

Think I am going to have to back out of my offer. While waiting things do not seem to be getting any better. Obvious insider selling keeps killing the momentum. I mean if they don't believe then why should we? I have lost 80% waiting on them to bring the prices back up. This coin should be trading at $5+ by now - it is that good. Next coin, I hope the DEVs don't forget their bi-polar medicine! Ridiculous when the product speaks for itself and the managements can't get out of the way! Truly senseless!!

Buy and Hodl Bitcoin.

Yeah I hope for this coin too but honestly. I am so done god damn waiting.

butter rose has posted jack. Apparently internally there is a working wallet but they haven't released it. even if exchanges are not allowing to change it for them but atleast give it to us so we can have properly working wallets without having to do shit like downloading block chains and banning IP adresses in the wallet.

Butterrose isn't back. wallets are still fucked. it's just a damn mess.

Use the wallet link on the first page of the ANN thread. Masternodes are proving to be very profitable. I get about 6-7 Xios a day per node. Just hope development gets back on track.

What makes you think its the Devs that are selling?
This coin is mineable i suppose.
And the Devs are not the only ones who get masternode and staking rewards.

Many people have many coins!
there are senseless dumpers everywhere.
they could just place decent sell order but NO, they'll just dump.

IF the devs have premine, i think they should make the premine wallet public.

I am not saying they arent the ones dumping.
I am saying it could be you just as much as it can be anyone else.

And for the record, i dont hold a single XIOS and i have never bought any. I was driven here with the intention of buying but i needed to see what was going on on bitcointalk. I have decided not to buy because of your message that indicates that the Devs arent trustworthy and the post after yours as well.
Maybe you are the one stalling the price with your negative comments or you are telling the truth.
Either way, you lost an investor
