I've never setup a masternode before. Is there a specific guide for this coin available or could I just copy a similar coin? Would anyone be able to provide a link? My wallet is currently syncing. Would be much appreciated, thanks.

There is no masternode.conf file in PNX. You should create MN from menu - it will generate new address for MN and genkey. You will need to transfer 20,000 PNX to this address. When you later press Start MN - it will take "outputs" automatically.

1. From Masternode menu: Create new MN; input alias, ex: "MN1" and address ex:"100.100.100.100:31978" 2. It will create new address for your MN with the alias "MN1": transfer exactly 20,000 PNX to this address. 3. Click to "Get config" - copy this - it will be your phantomx.conf file; edit you user/passw in this file (can use random values) and change port number to 31978. 4. Follow VPS setup procedure of the typical masternode; use your phantomx.conf file. 5. When your VPS sync is done, from control wallet Masternodes tab, click Start to start your MN. 6. You can double check on VPS by command: "phantomxd masternode debug" - it should show: "masternode started remotely". Have a nice day!

I know that way, but it is not very comfortable. Everytime you have to change something a new walletadress is created and you have to transfer masternode coins to the new address Maybe for beginners its really easy to configure because you only have to supply your masternode IP Address and a Name, but there should be a config file for experts to change things as you want.

If you still have difficulty to do that, just let us know! But, were you able to instantiate the Masternode?

Recent wallet have some issues about slow sync, sometimes it may stop for a longer time; it's OK to restart when it is not responding for a long time. Anyway it will sync well. Not a big problem, just need to be patient. Hope devs will find the cause.

CryptoCrazy Open the "phantomx.conf" and add this node on the top of nodes list (if you have more in the conf): addnode=54.218.118.59:9340 Maybe it can help you! Sometime there are many wallets syncing on the same time and can be slowly. Jaime

I do not recommend use different wallet for PNX - but this is my opinion! Honestly I never tried do it for any coin because I prefer use the own pnx wallet to earn with PoS (except for BTC/BTG/ETH that are so bigger). If you do that, please, share the results and check if Proof-of-Stage is working too. Jaime

We are working on that steps bellow to publish them still this year. We are prioritizing: 1 - the new website with more infos about PNX - purpose, roadmap in detail, etc 2 - whitepaper in EN and PT 3 - docs like how-to and what-to-do (how to compile and create wallets for any OS, MN, PoS and how to solve possible problems) Jaime
