Hey guys, I just bought 1000 PNX to set up a MN.  1st, I wanted to see how well staking worked.  How long do coins need to age to stake?  I have had the wallet with 1000 coins in it for 36 hours and it still says not staking bec "you don't have mature coins"; the coins have 3158 confirms.

Only 1.000 you will take long time to earn rewards because the network height is so hight.
You need wait 72 hours to mature coins.

Thank you so much for the reply-72 hours is coming up then I will be setting up my MN!  I hope the PNX project work out for us all in time.  I sometimes worry that these low cost MN coins have such low barriers to entry that ultimately hurts the price of the coin and thus hinders the development.....Time will tell.  In the meantime I am enjoying my climb up the learning curve.

PNX does not support masternode.conf file, and then no way to set up MN cold wallet 

Currently, the new cryptocoins are not using masternode.conf anymore.
Just ping us if you still have problem!

So bottom line, is it possible to run the masternode in separate VPS with cold wallet (in my local PC)?

Yes, it is possible to run cold MN on VPS and control wallet on Win PC. Just follow the cold MN setup guide.
1) Know your VPS IP and select port;
2) Use Win wallet and create MN from phantomxNodes menu - it will generate MN address;
3) Send 20,000 PNX to the generated address
4) Use "Get Config" from Masternode tab menu
5) Copy config file template; edit it and paste to VPS as a phantomx.conf file
6) Start VPS node, wait for full sync
7) From Win wallet: unlock wallet; from phantomxNodes menu: Start your MN: you should see "Adrenaline node started"
From VPS verify start by "./phantomxd masternode debug" command - you should see "masternode started remotely"

on my VPS it happened normally fast to reach the blocks
but on my windows wallet....
its syncing for 24 hours now.... still 2 days left. WTF?

Hey PNX gang!  I'm having an issue with my wallet not staking.  I have had the coins for 4 days now, my wallet appears "unlocked" - the icon on the bottom of the wallet show the lock in the open position, but is not currently encrypted, so I was wondering what is going on that the wallet still says "not staking because the coins are not mature".  I wanted to see how the staking reward looked before I got around to setting up my MN in the next few day when I have time.  My balance is 20065 PNX, and the 20K transaction is the first and oldest one with 6640 confirms from 12/31/2017.   Thanks for the insight.

PNX is staking like a boss However should wait for over 3 days for coins to mature - I guess you are starting to receive your rewards now. Also keep an eye on the coin pile size. It is not wise to stake with 20K in one pile - it will stake almost immediately upon maturity and later you will need to wait for 3 days to stake again. When staked - coin pile will add 25 PNX and will split in 2 halves.
