So you've copied a valid bitcoin address from another application... and when you click the "paste" button in Electrum it doesn't do anything? I've just tested this by copying the example bitcoin address from this page: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address (1BvBMSEYstWetqTFn5Au4m4GFg7xJaNVN2)... Then went into Android Electrum and clicked the "paste" button, the address was put into the "recipient" field fine. Do you get any error like "invalid bitcoin URI" or anything when you click "paste"?

If not what's the difference? Thanks

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

There are too many difference when using between Android and PC version of electrum, there are many advantages when using in PC, like sending to multiple addresses, sending bitcoin offline with signed and unsigned transaction, etc. While on Android is designed only to import/export/sweep, sending and receiving bitcoin only.

Where honestly you wanted to send the bitcoin from your android wallet? If you are sending bitcoin in other wallet just paste it here http://www.bitcoinqrcode.org/ and generate qr code since there is a cam option you scan the qr code you generated and should be paste the address in your android wallet check it if the address is correct before you send your bitcoin.. Hope this help..

Import - adds private key(s) into the current keystore (NOTE: This is NOT currently possible with Electrum HD wallets)... you need to create a wallet using "private" keys as opposed to using a "seed". Export - Outputs private key(s) (usually in "Wallet Import Format" aka WIF, long hex string that starts with a "5", "K" or "L") eg. 5HueCGU8rMjxEXxiPuD5BDku4MkFqeZyd4dZ1jvhTVqvbTLvyTJ Sweep - Sends the coins controlled by private key(s), to another address (can theoretically be ANY adddress, you don't have to sweep into your Electrum wallet)... effectively it is just a "normal" transaction, but you need to enter the private key(s) for the addresses being used as inputs. Usually (but not only) used to send the contents of a "paper" wallet to a different wallet without having to first import the paper wallet.

I'm not that really technical about electrum but importing your private key is the same with importing your seed only for this wallet? or it is also applicable from electrum > other wallets?

No.
- Importing a private key will import only one address. - Importing a seed, will import an entire chain of addresses, generated from the seed, using the given Derivation Path.
I'm not sure what you mean by "or it is also applicable from electrum > other wallets?"... are you asking of you can move an Electrum seed to other wallets? If so, the answer is no... Electrum does not use BIP39 compatible seeds like most other wallets. However, Electrum can import BIP39 compatible seeds from other wallets...
so in summary:
Import Private Key is not the same as Import seed.
Electrum seed -> Other Wallet = Not Possible Other wallet seed -> Electrum = Possible

No.
Electrum seed -> Other Wallet = Not Possible Other wallet seed -> Electrum = Possible
Thanks for the answer, this made me understand that electrum is very flexible unlike other.
