look the BTC Dominance: 52.7% what's happening to the altcoins? is it because of the fork?

I am wondering how many sites/exchanges will support bitcoin gold. Till date not much information (in fact almost zero) about this can be found.
There is only a statement on freebitco.in (also about bitcoin segwit 2x) but for the rest ...

Alt-coin will hit it big once they find their smaller targeted audience, spamming new alt-coins that have no real purpose won't bring anything good.
