Decentralized market look like a good chance to make profit, etherdelta is one of most popular but look like all token on this market are full of speculation...... What you think about? Solid project like Centra are good investement for medium time or is too risky?

I don't know, i think there are better exchanges than it is etherdelta. I mean, you can trade only tokens for ether and vice versa there while in other exchanges(bittrex, liqui, cryptopia...) you can trade tokens, altcoins and bitcoin. |

Etherdelta does not have your private keys, and runs on the Ethereum blockchain through smart contracts. So it is much safer than a regular exchange. No counterparty risk with Etherdelta. As long as you have backed up your private keys, it is virtually impossible to lose your funds. You can trade OMG and any other tokens that you purchase on EtherDelta back into ETH using EtherDelta. OMG is also traded on some bigger platforms, Thats mean not all tokens are scam there ! Sorry I don't know anything about "Centra" but I heard most people think is a scam.

I agree with you. I have been using Etherdelta ever since I started trading and have traded tokens here. I never had a problem here when I am trading. Aside from that, Etherdelta is highly recommended by other people, they also said that this is trusted and more secured than the other exchangers. |

I don't recommend Etherdelta. No doubt Etheredelta is decentralized exchange and give you entire freedom in trading process but freedom does bring manipulation along with it. Open any coin on ED and you will see the bots altering the prices up and down. You can buy the higher orders without clearing the lower ones, on other side, you can sell at lower prices even if orders with better prices are there. So ED can easily be manipulate hence I don't recommend. |

I don't think so, because sometimes in ether delta their are many traders them encounter some bugs and sometimes they are telling that it has low of transactions but sometimes it's good for me because some of the coins list theirs first in ether delta. We can trade their also because some of the coins their are much more higher price than some exchangers. So, ether delta is good too. |

I think etherdelta is good since you can buy coins before they're even listed, but honestly the system sucks. The site is extremely clunky, it's extremely confusing to use hence you see so many people buying 1 link for 200 eth for example. I feel like they should re-design the whole website and make it more user friendly to something similar to bittrex/binance

If you are holding ethereum that's the best choice because it's a descent way of trading, and the transaction is safe. Once you made the imports of your wallet, you have no problems on trading your coins and yet it's fast compared with other sites as you handle token to ethereum trades. |

Also, in etherdelta, you will deal a lot of tx fees since you will send something here and there. I think you know (or will know) what it means if you had tried trading there. I don't recommend trading there along with other reasons including what other people said above.

I don't like Etherdelta. I think there are many other better exchanges. My favorite are Binance, Cryptopia, Novaexchange, Bittrex.

Yes etherdelta is a good exchange but if you are doubting to deal with them then use a dummy wallet and transfer the coins you wish to trade on the other delta so that you will not be worry for your private keys. And Also Centra are somewhat a good choice to since that project is huge and maybe you should hold that coin cause there's a huge possibilities that the price of it will bubble just like what happen on monaco before. |

And Also Centra are somewhat a good choice to since that project is huge and maybe you should hold that coin cause there's a huge possibilities that the price of it will bubble just like what happen on monaco before. that's right if you are aiming to trade a new release token that use eth platform then ED is the best place to trade they cater newly release eth token and ready for some trade but for me its always good to wait until the coin reached decent exchange like trex and polo so it cant be manipulated by some but be traded by big players and got a bigger chance to earn a lot. |

Coins listed on etherdelta are too cheap you have a chance to earn big profit when the coin will be listed on other exchanges but before buying a coin make sure to do your own research buy the coin which you think have a potential.

Etherdelta has a shitty interface and everything is pretty slow as well as the fact it does not have a very good graph and you would not be able to cancel your orders when you place them.
However, it is a really REALLY good place to find the up and coming coins before they are listed on an major exchanges.
Its an opportunity to buy low market cap coins early on, and multiply your money. Obviously there are a lot of shit coins on there but you would have to do your research.

Centra seems to be a scam to me as well. I was reading how Cryptodevil has been questioning their ANN thread and I am suspicious as well. Back on topic: I have been using Bittrex, Poloniex and other exchanges for most of the time and EtherDelta is new for me. I recently came to know about it and have not used it yet. Since it is a decentralized exchange it is one good plus point. However my observations show that there is more of a selling pressure on tokens in ED than buying pressure. I do not know the reason behind this but I hope this changes in future. Otherwise people will simply dump it here and buy at low price to sell it at high price on another exchange. |

Etherdelta has many coins yes but the problem is etherdelta has one of the lowest volume in their coins. and you can't actually buy btc with it only eth.

I doubt etherdelta is a good exchange, because this exchange paltform is asking private key of your ethereum address. How come that it become good. Other exchange is not asking any private key of their clients. That's my opinion only.  |

I have just known this site few days ago when the booming of eBTC, I do not use this site to trade so far but what I can say is that the site is so laggy. There are no much activity but it seems to be so heavy to load, I'm sure it is not about my connection because I can open any other site smoothly. I also think that this site is only being used to sell most erc20 tokens that have just launched recently with airdrop. I dont see any good future of this exchange to be honest.

Yeah, the webpage too loads very slowly even if there is a good internet connection. I use Etherdelta when I sold one of my coins. So far, so good and I never had a problem aside from the interface where the loading seems forever. Etherdelta is also recommended to me by one of my friends who have been a member of this forum for so long so I trust and I hoe that this will not be a hindrance. |
