Why people try to create their own coins?

The good ones have a real problem they are trying to solve with either a product in market or some kind of beta. ICO will become the way to raise money. Doesn't mean everyone that wants to launch a coin deserves to!

Why for nothing ? I mean do you love bitcoins like the most of us ?If I had enough money to cost a coin I would be calling it " To The Moon Coin " . Sadly ain't rich .

there are many successful coins out there, so I'd suggest we don't put unnecessary assumpiton here. anyway the ones that just copy and doesn't have any brlliant idea behind will be getting lost.

Creating altcoin for their businesses is really a new trend and may be people creating their own crypto currency as through this way they can advertise their company in more better way. People create their own crypto currency to run a project with, they have their own road map, how to work on the project and how much it will be profitable to other people and investors.

The undeniable reason of creating own coins is to make millions even billions of money but that always depends on the developers mission and vision or purpose in creating a specific project. Legit ones are trying to help and contribute to the crypto community but scammy ones intention is to gather peoples money and when they are ready to go they just disappear leaving investors crying out for justice. These two kinds of developers the legit and scammy don't just waste their time for nothing because of the reasons above.

They are not wasting their time some of them are actually earning millions. Some of them release coins to finance their project or company. I agree that there are a lot of coins now and every month you will see ICO. I really think that there should be some regulation with ICO to prevent scam and pump and dump scheme.

ERC20 tokens are very easy to make. It's only natural if people are seeing the amount of money being raised that they are going to try to get in for a piece of the action themselves and the easiest way to do that is to ICO your own coin.

I think they not wasting their time to do that. The reason why they do that is because of money. There a two reason about that either they want to scam or legitimate coin.

many different motives for basic reasons in the making of new coins. I see from a positive point of view one of the reasons is to find funds for the financing of the project they are working on.

Reasons vary from person to person. Some want to finance their projects, other wants to make quick money.
From what I'm watching lately, there is enough market space for all, including the eBTC

And sometimes others just make their digital coins and making an airdrop to attract users and other investors to invest on their coins where in fact it is a scam. But good thing it's not the case of eBTC. And just after eBTC's success (even without their White Paper), some tend to follow and copy eBTC's path that leads to new airdrops of eXXXXX and wXXXXX coins that are popping up in this forum.

For the most part if they are just copying a coin and launching it its for easy money and/or fame.  Not "famous", just their own sense of fame. 

Aside from that some people actually have a vision and a business plan and want to implement it.  Usually you can tell the difference with a little bit of research.  If they have a business plan and a business goal, like AcademyCoin, SiaCoin and a bunch of other coins, their goals are usually set out in their whitepapers.  If they say I created Potato Coin ect since there isn't enough coins to buy potatoes, those are the ones you stay far away from.

most of them are not copying they all have some ideas. But, mostly some people are only creting those coins for instant money nor fame.

True, there are many coins that add nothing. They are just copying each other with no project and no roadmap. This is usually done because these people think their coins will be listed on exchanges and this way they will make quick profits selling them on a bulk. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. I always suggest to stay away from such coins and invest only in valid project with serious teams.

I am also worried about this situation, just look at Exrp coins and other E coins. "They did a fundraising with the airdrop method and got the community to get their coins acknowledged.I do not believe in it and there should be rules so no one gets harmed.

Most of them are just scammers and the reason why they make to own coin/token and launch ICO's that promises investors of high profit is to make profit they leave all the project behind and taking the investors with all it's money that's why most ICO's this days are bad for newbie investor especially those people who doesn't take time to research that ICO's and end up getting scammed lots of their money.

Yes why does they want to create a new coin, is just because they want they own coin or they just want to get a lot of money if they see that the coin they create is promising or they just want to do it to scam many people?

They dont waste their time for nothing. They use their time to either develop a legitimate project or a scammy project. It is up to us as the users to decipher which is which.

I think this pretty much sums it up. There's a lot of low quality projects and ICOs out there, it's the job of the community itself to decide if it has any value or it's just another low quality project just trying to make as much money as possible in no time.

It's not that difficult to differentiate between what could be a legitimate project and one that doesn't have a lot of future, for new coins the most important thing is to create a high quality community with people that actually care about the technology and potential of the coin. It's up to each one of us to understand the potential behind the projects after all, it's pretty clear that cryptocoins are a hot topic lately and that we can expect a lot of projects in the near future.

Essentially they make their own coin because they want money, no matter what lies they give in the end they bring investors' money, even though their ico project is not scammed but they need the profits or cost for the ico project itself.

It's just for $$$. It's easy to create altcoin. Of course you can't do this alone. They need partners in crimes and some imaginary friends to add at their dev team. ICO i think the fastest and the easiest way to get money from people to fund their scam coin. ICOs these days just popping out of nowhere. Most of them are just collect money from investors. Then they will distribute the coin to the investors. And when the coin hit an exchange. That's it, another shitcoin landed an exchange. That's why ICO from other countries are keeping their eyes to them. ICOs is getting out of hand. This thing needs to be regulated.

There is a possibility they want to earn a big income someday because if the coin is made on the market and sold well Automatically will be a lot of enthusiasts so that every time the person continues to receive a lot of income.

learning about new technology is fun for me, currently im trial to create my 'real blockchain altcoin' not only token.
why not? we can get money if our altcoin succes. and im never waste my time for learning.
