Why people try to create their own coins?

1. They want to be rich.
2. They're able to make another cryptocurrency because they are geeks and developers.
3. It's very easy to build a project cause if they have #1 & #2.

Even me I can create my own coin by using Ethereum geth platform and use their ERC20 smart contract.

it is actually necessary that there are people doing this, if there wouldnt be there wouldt be a avery strange economy,

the economy regularily increases its efficiency, the society needs people that use the surplus funds creatively,

many ico founders are just wasting ressources, and create a meaningsless hype.

There are people who want a better tech than bitcoin, so they make their own version if you can see many infographics people will make a comparison with another btc/alts and they will said " my coins is better".

There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing?

It is not a waste of time. Some wants to make a project that will boom or be like other alt coins. Some only use it to gain and scams others. They will definitely earn from the coins they made, honestly or not.

I  Think every computer geek, a programmer or a developer can be able to make or run his own Cryptocurrency coin but it may differ on his capabilities on maintaining the whole running system.
That's why ICOs are building their own projects so that coin will give importance to the holders and investors.
So, if you're a computer guy, a geek, a developer and you want to be rich then you'll be lucky if you're into Cryptocurrency development.

I agree with the earlier statement but the real problem is to find the purpose of making a currency because today each currency have their own vision of projects into different fields.
As blockchain source code is open source then everyone has the right to download, redesign, redistribute and even use it for their own advantage or purpose.
But reasons behind it it's either want to get rich quick and having a dedicated to team.

ICO's are launched in a great number but there are a few that come with innovative ideas, but we can't say that doing it is useless. Blockchain is a new technology which still have a lot to improve.  There are people who are genuinely working to bring something better than the old one, mankind is always in a struggle to change the good to better and better to the best. That's why we see a large number of coins and tokens in the crypto market.

even if in this way to deceive people who are willing to invest in well advertised coins, you still need to report a lot of effort or financial investment. but nevertheless, No matter how hard it all was, If the project does not make any sense, then I think this is a real scam. Probably in the market almost 50% of coins are just such.

I think we can divide them in two. First group is greedy people who wants to take advantage of the market and people to make easy money and second group is full of people who have some good projects to make life easier for cypto community.

Yeah, forget about that. Sorry. There are still good projects or coins right now but the ratio I think is 10:1 where 10 is scammers and only 1 of that are legit. Some crypto's have good visions and intentions to give solutions to our problems.

Since blockchain technology is less then 10 years old thousands of new investors join the community with a belief of being rich through crypto. New starters who have no experience can be easily fooled. 95% of altcurrencies are copies from existing well developed projects. For newbies take a long time to be educated and be able to identify those unique assets. It should be strictly regulated to protect us from being scammed.
